A stay with us will provide a unique experience that is one of a kind to Alaska. Whether you’re booking for your entire family or by yourself, we offer a cozy environment, free WiFi, games for the kids and an amazing indoor 2400sq ft pool house with all the amenities you can imagine. When you rent the house you receive the poolhouse from 6pm-12a.m no matter what. If there are no partys you will have it the entire time!

I was very impressed with the communication & willingness to communicate. We found a last minute booking for my daughters 14th bday. I was happy to be in a quiet, clean and safe home with them and their friends. The owners were very accommodating & understanding. We have another stay booked for my next kiddos bday! My daughters had a blast in the pool, which was 4ft across so it took the stress off my shoulders. I enjoyed the tub I could fit my whole body in located in the master bathroom. All around a great experience for all of us and we can’t wait to go back :)

Excellent place!!

Beautiful home in a great location. Loved this home. Alot of amenities. The pool was awesome. The kids had so much fun swimming ands so did the adults. Excellent communication. Highly recommend this home. Would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation to Alaska

Great place to stay, my grandson loved the pool house, it was awesome, filled with all the pool needs you would ever want. House had everything we needed, also. Thanks for letting us stay at the last minute, due to cancellation of our flights and couldn't find any hotels. Alaska is a beautiful place to be.

Family get together for a celebration of life, and estate sale. The place was perfect for our group, the pool was a nice to relax after our emotional days. The host were very responsive. I would recommend staying here

VFW auxiliary group

We were attending a veterans of foreign wars mid winter conference in wasilla and found this beautiful property which would accommodate our full group. Since we have done this in other locations we knew this was a much better value over a hotel. Love the feel of home and ability to connect will most our group in this environment. Woke up to a power outage our last day so couldn’t clean up for the host as much as we wanted. Hope to stay here again in the future

Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed for prepping food at home, saving us money on eating out. The kids loved the pool and I loved the amazing soaking tub in the en suite bath! The yard appeared to be mid-project, but it didn’t detract from our stay. The owners were very responsive to any needs that arose and one Ives in the attached apartment, which was convenient when we ran out of trash bags. If you have a large group and need a place to stay a few nights in the area you can’t go wrong with this rental!

Great Local spot near Wasilla

This was only about an hour away from Anchorage. We swam in the little Lake in town and found some yummy food spots. The spul food truck and ice cream cone spot Little Miller Metro?, is walking distance away. Down the strwet is Taege and other stores you amy want to get supplies from. We also had fun shopping at a thrift store nearby. The owner was very responsove to requests-like providing fans for the warm rooms upstairs. We cpuldnt open those windows because there were no screens. We would offer a friendly suggestion of some black out curtains in all the sleeping rooms. It was hard for the kids to get enough rest becasue of the brightness. Otherwise, everything was pretty great. We would stay there again!

Completely Misleading

We were about to commit to a stay at a few other VRBO properties when the title "Pool House" caught our eye. A house large enough to facilitate a group gathering to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary, with a swimming pool. We in addition to that enticing click bait we also have a special needs adult in our group who loves to swim. So we cashed in our deposit efforts on other properties and went with the "Pool House" as it seemed the best fit for the occasion and our needs. Well, we couldn't use the pool very often as the property owners booked the pool out to private parties during our stay. In addition, the property owners were constantly working on pool maintenance using all the water pressure in the house. we had adults in the shower trying to shampoo their hair when the water pressure dived down to nothing because the owners were either prepping the pool for a private party or performing recovery maintenance after a private party. We booked the property for six days and were able to use the pool for a few hours during our entire stay. We were completely mislead and I dare say taken advantage of. This property is not what you think it is. Buyer Beware!!

A pool in Alaska? Amazing!

Overall this place was amazing! The finishings were beautiful, the property was in a convenient location and the pool house was incredible for the kids! We stayed here with 5 adults and 2 kids. The bedroom layout was perfect for us. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs (one king, one queen, and one double bunkbed room). There is one bedroom on the main floor. The kids slept in the bunkbed room and had so much fun with the bunks, the tv in their room and of course the pool with every single pool toy you can think of! Their favorite was the volleyball net. The poolhouse also has a bathroom with a shower. The beds are all very comfortable. We had a couple of issues during our stay and the owners were very responsive and fixed the issues right away. A couple things to note that would have been good to know in the listing: - there is a suite attached to the house that has someone living there. He was very nice, but it was just a surprise. - when the owners are topping up the pool, there is no water pressure in the house. They seemed to top it up every couple of days. - the pool has its own booking site, so make sure to ask the owners to remove it from that booking site if you don't want to share it with other bookings. We asked for that and were assured nobody else would be there, but there was a party right before our check in and also they advised when we arrived that there was a booking on the day after we checked in that they couldn't move.

We recently booked this place primarily because of the pool, expecting to enjoy it throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our experience on Saturday was quite disappointing. We were informed just a day before our arrival that the pool would be occupied due to two parties scheduled from 12-2 PM and 2:30-4:30 PM. Although we were allowed to swim in the morning, we had to be done by 11:30 AM to accommodate the cleaning before the first party. This arrangement was not what we anticipated when we booked the place a month ago, and it significantly limited our enjoyment of the pool. While we appreciate that the hosts made an effort to communicate this change, we feel that better notice could have been given, especially since we had planned our stay around the pool access. Overall, our experience was not as relaxing as we had hoped, and we wish we could have enjoyed the pool for the duration of our stay as initially expected.The house itself was nice and clean. So disappointed with the pool schedule. Kids were looking forward saturday to use it all day….
