A great stay with family. The views are amazing from the living room window, the kitchen well supplied, and the rooms comfortable. Home as advertised - thanks for a great experience!
Snowmobiler's paradise! Great house for snowmobiling. Ton's of trailer parking. Great Trail just across the street. Gas station 1 block away. House itself is roomy and comfortable. Great location right on Lake Superior. Great views. House was clean and had everything we needed. The host (Ron) was friendly and very accomodating with great communication.
Enjoyed the large yard for dog play and private small beach area. Large living area and bedrooms. We used it as central location to Porcupine Mountains, Mount Arvon and Keweenaw Peninsula area. Had a wonderful stay.
Overall very pleased with the accommodations provided at this property. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/plates/etc and there was a nice grocery story just a short trip up the road. The water views were epic!

Thanks for the wonderful review! Lmk if you ever want to return!!
We stayed over the July 4th weekend. The house was great. The bay was amazing with a nice, small, sandy beach. We enjoyed the kayaks. The location was perfect for us. We spent a day at the Porcupine Mountains, and another exploring the peninsula up to Copper Harbor. It was very hot and humid that weekend and really appreciated the portable a/c units that were set up for us.
We spent a long weekend in proximity to our son (and our daughter's boyfriend), at MTU. We greatly enjoyed watching the sunrise over the lake, the easy walk to Sand Point Lighthouse, and the assortment of games, equipment, and activities available for our use. I could see us staying here again.
Super clean, beautiful back yard and water front. Kitchen nicely supplied. Ping pong and bumper pool were great. Highway noise was not ideal for sleeping but other things made up for it.
We loved the proximity of the home! We did a day trip to copper harbor and explored a few water falls along the way. Not too far from Quincy mines & nice and convenient to the family reunions we had in L’anse & Baraga. We loved all the family games available and access to the kayaks. Loved that the home is on a sandbar and felt safe with the kids exploring Lake Superior! We would stay again!
We were traveling as an ( extended) family, from Grandma to baby. This property exceeded our expectation and needs. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Thr canoe and kayaks were a huge hit. The campfire calming at the end of the day. We all left relaxed and rested. Thank you for sharing your place with us!
The home was clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Bring your own toiletries. Nice outside area with patio table and fire pit by the lake. Close to grocery store. Half hour from MTU. Easy check-in and minimal check-out requirements. US 41traffic noise was tolerable. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay. The location on the bay is beautiful. Extremely busy highway. We knew that having been in this area regularly, however, it is something to consider. We did have difficulty with receiving local stations. This difficulty was not satisfied during our stay. A new remote control with readable numbers would be helpful. We tried everything including new batteries without success. We would book again as everything else was very satisfactory!

Thanks Laura for the feedback! We have ordered a new remote.
Very clean house with nice views of bay, but numerous throw rugs create tripping hazards. I tripped on them several times. Came home with a bad back that may be a result of those trips. Just get rid of the rugs. The only place one is needed is in front of the tub.
