Trails End Retreat- A Peaceful Country Getaway in the Heart of Mohican Country

Located in the heart of Mohican Country, Trails End Retreat is a newly renovated 2025 getaway on 5 acres — perfect for families, groups, and pet owners. Enjoy a private stocked fishing pond with dock, outdoor patio and wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, pizza oven, Weber grill and Blackstone. The pond area is fully fenced for dogs, and a half-acre pasture with run-in shelter welcomes horses on-site.

Inside features TWO fully equipped kitchens, comfortable sleeping for up to 10 (2 kings, 1 queen, 1 room with two twins, sleeper sofa) plus a bunkhouse (2 twin beds; no electricity, linens not provided), 2 full baths, 1 half bath, and an additional full bath in the barn area — ideal when RVs are on property. Four RV hookups available by arrangement with the owner.

Outdoor adventures are minutes away: access the Blue Trail under 3/4 mile from the property and less than 5 miles to local canoe liveries. Peaceful views, flexible sleeping arrangements, and pet- and horse-friendly facilities make Trails End Retreat the perfect base for your Mohican escape.

This is an absolutely beautiful property with peaceful environment and surrounding community. Having the outdoor space to hang out on the patio with the outdoor fireplace was a neat experience and it was also where we spent most of our time. It was also nice to have the pond available to swim.

We had a girls weekend here and it was pure heaven. The property is a million times better than the photos. It was incredibly clean and stocked with all the supplies you would need for your stay. Great time

Had a great time staying and enjoyed the view. The host was very nice and was very helpful if we needed anything. The house was very clean and more than enough room for everyone. The out door patio was everyone favorite spot to be . Would love to come back again.

We LOVED the property! Very peaceful and fun. We had 8 adults on our trip and there was plenty of space for all. The pavilion was lovely to watch the Ohio State game and enjoy the beautiful outdoor weather we had. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The guys took breaks from football to fish in the pond as well. We spent the first day in Sugarcreek and then the second day exploring Mohican State Park, so the location was perfect for us. We would highly recommend this rental.

Deb was a very good host.The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed and then some. The outdoor area was great lucky for us the weather was warm enough to watch the game out there. There were some very nice goodies left for us upon our arrival. We spent most of our time in the sunroom and outdoor space celebrating Christmas with our children and grandkids. Thank you so much Deb you will never know what this weekend meant to us. It is not often that all of our children are in one place at the same time. We did leave a day early because of snow storms and travel distance.

Great for a family gathering!

Fantastic property for a gathering of family or friends. All kinds of sitting areas, inside and out — in the pavilion, on the sun porch around the fire pit, downstairs at the harvest table, in the family room area next to the outdoor kitchen, etc. Everything was just great. And clean as could be. What a pleasure it was to stay here.

A beautiful property near Mohican State Park and Loudenville, OH, Trails End Retreat is an absolutely beautiful place for a group to gather. We were in town for a family wedding, and had multiple families staying together. We felt like we were staying in a place that could be featured on HGTV—beautiful inside and out. We all slept comfortably, and we had plenty of room to spread out, gather, and get ready. The host was proactive, attentive, and added touches like a welcome basket that exceeded our expectations. This was an exceptional find and we highly recommend it.

Very nice house and property in out in the country. The outdoor space is large and fenced in, with a lake and entertainment area. The inside has two different kitchen areas and the upstair and downstairs could be used as spearate living spaces if you needed that for some reason. To get to the top bedroom does require some steeper stairs, but the bottom area requires no stairs at all, so that might be something to keep in mind if traveling with mutiple people whom have limited mobility. The whole house was very clean and very well stocked. It is a good space for pets with the outdoor area and they are specifically well setup for horses if you have those. Comfortable spaces and beds made this a very easy place to relax and unwind. It is close to Mohican state park for hiking and activiites. The host responded immediately to all messages and was a pleasure to deal with.

We found this property and fell in love before we even arrived! Everything was clean and well kept. The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, from board games for the indoors, fishing equipment and outdoor games! Each floor had a fully functioning kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and supplies. We spent our evenings outside with a fire gazing the moon and its reflection on the stocked pond. We can’t say enough positive things about Trails End Retreat, we will be back!

Beautiful Home!

We had 6 adults and 2 children (7&12) with my SILs parents and brother stopping out, at this house for our yearly long weekend trip. This house beyond met our expectations! Everything you could possibly need was there! 2 full kitchen and an extra bathroom out in the horse stalls! Everything was clean and beautiful! We spent most of our days outside at the outdoor living area and at night upstairs at the large gathering table and fireplace. We are a family that loves to play games and there were 3 large table areas for us! I cannot recommend this property enough! The host was so helpful and easy to get ahold of! Close to town maybe a 7 min drive to Mohican adventures!

A dog's (and owner's) paradise!

I highly recommend this beautiful location for people who want to be able to travel with their dogs. We spent the Fourth of July here and loved it! We traveled with our adult son, and we have two very large dogs between the two of us. The property is completely fenced in, so we could let the dogs roam, explore, play, and swim. This property is in the country, so it was very quiet and peaceful. There was much to do there - ride the paddleboat, fish, swim, play cornhole, make great fires in the pit, and relax on the beautiful upstairs deck. The grill was very nice for fixing meals. Debbie, the owner, was a very easy person to work with and was very accommodating. She made us feel so welcome, which is not always easy when traveling with big dogs! All of us (humans and dogs) had a very nice time and would love to go back again.
