Nice little cabin

  • 4 of 5

Very nice little cabin! Very clean and had everything we needed! Really enjoyed being away from the city. The wood stove is amazing and the bed is very comfortable! Thank you Brenda for the wonderful hospitality and allowing us to bring our dogs! Thank your mom for the wonderful scones! We really enjoyed just relaxing and listening to the records! That was awesome! The only thing I can think to recommend is having some newspaper to start the fire as we had to use papertowels LOL! Thank you again for such as nice stay!

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time during our week at the Stillwater retreat. The cabin is extremely clean and well-equipped. The view from the back deck is spectacular. Just down the road are beautiful places to hike by the river and a tranquil place to chill by the rushing water. Carter's Camp was a fun place to grab a sandwich or a beer. Our two pups had fun exploring the grounds. You are truly off the grid there, with little cell service or wi-fi and no TV. We rediscovered NPR radio and working puzzles! What a great change of pace! Thank you, Brenda, for a memorable vacation!

We really enjoyed our two nights in this cabin - it was very clean when we arrived, has great amenities, and the property managers were very gracious in ensuring we had a nice stay. Highly recommend if you're coming to the area.

Adorable little cabin in the heart of the Beartooth Mountains!!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5 were cozy and comfortable in this quaint mountain cabin. Brenda, our hostess, welcomed us in Absorakee and lead us to her cabin. She was super sweet and welcomed us like we were family! Her mom even made us delicious scones which we all devoured. Very sweet of her!

Brenda and the owner of this cabin added an extra sleeping area for our kids which was very comfortable!!!

Limited cell phone service and no TV but we were all content to be off the grid for several days.

This cabin is well stocked with fresh linens, kitchen ware, washer and dryer and coffee! We even brought out the record player and listened to an Eagles and Fleetwood Mack album!

My husband and our kids tried some fly fishing out on the Stillwater River just a short hike away but the river was flowing high and strong so fish weren't too interested.

We traveled pass the mine and to Woodbine campground and trailhead, just a short 10 minutes away. So beautiful!!

Each morning we were welcomed by Meadowlarks singing to us and vibrant Blue Birds visiting. An occasional Mule deer could be seen across the field, even a doe with her baby.

Smells of sage and pine and that fresh mountain air can't be beat in this area.

Overall the owners of this cabin and Brenda went above and beyond to be sure our stay was comfortable, relaxing and memorable. We truly loved our stay here!!!
