This home has been in my family over 30 years. My husband and I remodeled the home for our enjoyment as well as guests coming to the Texas Gulf Coast. We go to Texas City and spend time at the home, either fishing in Galveston Bay, visiting friends and family or dining at some really great local restaurants.
What makes this House unique
The house is located in a convenient area, close to Texas City, Kemah, Galveston, and Houston. With the freeway a mile away, you have easy access to Galveston for a day at the beach and sightseeing or head north to Houston spending the day at Space Center Houston. Fishing in Galveston Bay is only 8 miles away.

Clean & Comfortable Home away from home
We enjoyed our stay at Robbynn's home. We did not meet her but she emailed all of the needed info and our late night arrival went without any problems. The codes worked the first time and no problems with the keys and there was plenty of lights to lead the way. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. All needed info was in an organized book on the kitchen table. The wooden floors are lovely, although they do creak when you walk as does one of the wooden bed frames. I liked the shutters, windows and the bamboo blinds- everything worked properly.
Also liked the plush bath-rug and the small rocking chair in the bedroom. Lots of little touches made this a very enjoyable stay for 4 people.
We didn't have time to visit Galveston but did visit the Kemah Boardwalk and Johnson Space Center. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in nearby Webster. Very convenient location in a nice neighborhood for a family vacation.

This is an excellent place to stay. Very comfortable and the owners provide everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
Clean and neat
I was very happy with our stay. The house was very clean and it had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it.
We stayed at this property during February 2016 and couldn't have been happier with it. The house was spotless and very cute. Three bedrooms with one set up as an office were plenty for the two of us. The kitchen was equipped with everything anyone could need or want and the bathroom was very bright and spotless. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and it seemed like everyone kept their homes nice. I walked often around the block and while there was no sidewalk, the road was wide enough so that I didn't feel unsafe. We were close to Galveston and Houston with easy access to Hwy 45. All in all I would recommend this house to anyone. We hope to return next year if we decide to come back to Texas from cold Illinois.
This is a great vacation rental central to many cities near Galveston. We enjoyed the spacious garage and the children loved to run in the large backyard and swinging on the porch swing. My daughter said it best, " Wow, this is better than three hotels!"
