New River cabin get away

This spacious rustic log cabin is tucked away off the main road. You drive down scenic roads while enjoying lots of deer, geese, turkeys and an occasional bear. The cabin sits on a five acre tract, that is located across from the New River State Park. The large open area in the backyard is manicured all the way down to the river. There is easy access to the river with a sandy beach area. The scenic river can be enjoyed from the spacious covered deck. Let the river lull you to sleep or help you find a sense of zen. The cabin has five bedrooms, three baths and two dens with three levels to spread out. The cabin sleeps twelve with nine beds. The cabin is cozy and feels like being at Grandma's house. The cabin is close enough to enjoy the new river bike trails, hiking, Shot Tower State Park, Draper Mercantile and Trading Company, Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre, The Boiling Wilson Hotel, Claytor Lake, Fort Chiswell Animal Park, Big Walker Lookout, and Dixie Caverns.
