This home is absolutely wonderful!! Its got a beautiful view of the lake, the home is nice and roomy and has all of the amenities you need. AND the host was so thoughtful we were there for my daughter's college graduation and they had pretty congratulations cookies waiting there for us.The host was very responsive when I reached out to her and provided everything we needed to get checked in and settled.I would HIGHLY recommend this home if you are ever making your way to/through Radford!!!

What a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights while we checked out schools for our teenager. The place was wonderful and the view is stunning! So glad we had a dog friendly place - that made the house feel like home. Would love to come back in the summer for all the water fun!

This house is wonderful, if anything, it’s even better than the pictures show. Very comfortable, every need has been considered. The view of the sunset from the deck is incredible. Easy communication with the property management and reasonable nightly rate. Highly recommend.

Five Star Lake House

Wonderful house on the lake. Gorgeous views. This property is stocked with high end linens, comfortable lounging furniture, great mattresses, and quality kitchen equipment. Our whole family enjoyed our Christmas gathering and we're very cozy!

Beautiful area

The lake is speculated and house great. Be aware no shopping nearby. Fortunately we brought lots of food so no problem. Had a blast on a boat rental.

So beautiful!

The views from this home are stunning. We were in town for a week visiting our daughter who attends Radford University. The house is just about 30 minutes drive from the college as they are windy mountain roads but so worth the drive! The sunsets were amazing on the lake and it was relaxing and peaceful. The house is comfortably furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed with pots/ pans and dishes. It was a wonderful week!

Great "Lake views" Location

This is a really nice property and the photos don't really show how nice, clean, and updated things are. At the same time, a couple of things to note: 1) the house does not have waterfront, but it is directly across the street from the lake/docks and has awesome views of the lake. 2) the driveway is very steep, so just keep that in mind if you plan on walking the neighborhood. All in all, it is a nice, quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors and lots of lake entertainment to watch from the wrap-around porch.

From the owner: ''Thank you for your positive comments. The house does have waterfront access to the grassy common area. Guests may fish, swim, launch kayaks, etc. The docks, however, are private. Guests also have free access to a public launch,docks, swimming area, and day camping area less than 1/2 mile away at Harry Dehaven Park.The driveway is less than 40-degree incline so that's not steep in the mountains.''

The lake

The property is a remodeled older home. It is located on the far end of Claytor Lake. The property is situated on a hillside with a fairly steep slope. The house is around 1500 sq feet with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a well equipped kitchen a separate dining room and a large family room with fireplace. There is a very nice view of the lake from the family room and porch at the front of the house. Personally the property is a little more isolated than we would have liked. I did not see al lot of things to do except the lake.
