WIFI, mesa de billar y mesa de ping-pong, así como una playa de arena! Esta casa es adorable! El lote es casi plana y además hay una playa de arena. Hay otros 800 pies cuadrados de sala de juegos (mesa de billar, dardos ping pong) en el garaje detatched y una casa de juegos para los niños. El lado roadfront tiene una malla en porche de café de la mañana. El lado de la línea de costa tiene una amplia terraza con espacio para todos y unas vistas magníficas. Una vez dentro de la casa, le encanta la decoración y el mobiliario. Una mezcla de arte contemporáneo cumple relajado estilo lago hacen de esta una de las más cómodas casas en nuestro programa de alquiler. Las habitaciones son amplias y las salas de estar están abiertas y de invitación Hay una fiesta en el jardín vallado zona al aire libre pintoresco para el entretenimiento o por lo fido pueden hacer algo de ejercicio y sin mamá y papá tienen que preocuparse por él corriendo. La zona de arena de playa es ideal para los niños pequeños también. Hay un mirador en el agua. El garaje tiene una mesa de billar que se convierte en una mesa de ping pong, dardos también! Hay una casa en el árbol y un bote de remos (reconstruido y completamente funcional 12/1/2017) también para los niños. Hay una hoguera para asar malvaviscos o compartir bebidas con amigos.

En el nivel de entrada, encontrará la cocina, un pequeño desayunador, el comedor más grande que está abierto a la sala de estar, un dormitorio y un baño completo. El cuarto de lavado también está en el nivel principal. La sala de estar y el comedor tienen puertas corredizas de vidrio que se abren a una impresionante terraza con vista al lago. Con asientos para 8, mesa con sombrilla y una parrilla de gas, este es el lugar de entretenimiento perfecto para cualquier grupo.

En la planta superior, hay una sala de recreación y 2 dormitorios adicionales que comparten un baño completo en el pasillo. La sala de grabación tiene un televisor y un sistema de juegos para los niños. Hay una pequeña cubierta de la sala de grabación también. Con todos los extras en esta casa, querrá hacer de esta su casa de vacaciones durante muchos años.

Adorable house, loved the gated back deck for our dog! Great location. Close to both the state park and golf and restaurants at Mariner’s Landing. Would highly recommend and wouldlove to stay there again when we come back to visit family.

Great location!

Perfect house for our family of 5 and dog. The deck is shaded perfectly. The dock and cove are safe for relaxing on boards or floats. The 2 kayaks were great to have for exploring the lake. The house itself was cozy without feeling small. Lots of supplies for preparing meals at the house.

Beautiful views to wake up to!! Plenty of space for a family to stretch out, and the inside of the home was very clean with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. Be aware - the bunkbed is now Queen size on both top and bottom. We were unprepared for that; the listing said Queen and Twin when we booked. There were 6-8 remotes in front of the TV downstairs and we didn't have the energy to try to figure out what goes to what. We were unclear where the kayaks that belong to the property are...there are 2 that are on the very edge of the property, on the other side of a tree, facing the neighbors backyard. We weren't comfortable enough with the assumption to do anything with them. I was surprised the lawn and decks weren't more cleaned up; all the neighbor's lawns were.

Nice location

Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Cozy house. The back deck is gated which made it a great place to sit with our dogs.

Perfect vacation spot

This place gives you nonstop entertainment from the pool table, tennis table in the garage if you have a rainy day and are stuck inside to the huge variety of books and board games offered inside. Love that you offered life jackets and things to enjoy the water with. Trees provide that much appreciated shade on a sunny day. Kitchen provides everything you could possibly need. And am so thankful it is very pet friendly from the closed in area for them to run, gate on the back deck to the screened in front porch. We will definitely visit again and encourage anyone looking for a relaxing vacation to book here

Perfect getaway

This house is a perfect getaway if you want to be active and use the lake or simply relax on the deck. It is so dog friendly with the dog yard - my dog and I played out there a ton! We were able to cook our meals and just hang out on the deck and enjoy the views. The state park entrance is around the corner and we enjoyed hiking in the mornings. Great house!

Peaceful and relaxing

Beautiful and cute cottage. Perfect little weekend getaway. Paddleboat was broken when we got there, but still enjoyed the lake beauty.

3.5 rating. When we got there it wasn’t cleaned from the last people who stayed - dog hair and people hair all over, bathrooms dirty, bedrooms messy. Had to spend a good hour and a half cleaning and washing the bed spreads that were there. There’s a notice on the fridge that says notify the rental office and that no refunds are allowed and I’m sure they would’ve responded but we needed to get settled in and didn’t really have time to wait for someone to come and clean it. Really unfortunate as the property is lovely - nice little beach, access to lake, fire pit, and dog run were all nice.

Easy booking and check in. Property had games and kayaks that we all enjoyed.

Relaxing experience with fun extras. Beautiful lake with clean water. Fun fishing and kayaking. We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and the mini pool table in the garage.

Excellent rental on the lake

The house was exactly as pictured and described in the rental listing. Beautiful neighborhood located on a quiet cove with a fenced area for pets and gazebo on the dock. 5 stars for sure!

Overall Great Stay

The house was great! Wasn’t thrilled about having to take sheets and towels for the stay, that’s a lot of extra baggage for a family of 4. But, loved the property....will definitely stay there again!

Great lakeside vacation.

Absolutely loved the property. Perfect location. Exactly as described in overview. Best equipped kitchen we have had. Which covers about 5 years of stays at various properties. The only improvement I would recommend is, ditch the paddle boat and replace with kayak or canoe. We would highly recommend this property.

comfy, cozy fall weekend getaway with friends

Coming from all different directions and converging on Smith Mountain Lake, we all had the same impression of the house and amenities. Perfect for our getaway. We enjoyed the game "room" , took walks, went fishing, enjoyed sitting in the gazebo at the dock, had a fire at the fire pit, played games and ate at the dining room table, put together yummy meals in the bright and sunny kitchen, took a ride to Moneta and visited some shops and hung out in the cozy living room to watch TV. Looking forward to another visit next year !!!

Great place to stay

Started off a bit stressful as we were given the wrong lock box code and it took several calls to reach someone. Issue was fixed promptly at that point. Great location, perfect for dogs, could enter water on small sand beach or jump off the dock. Lots of fun there! Perfect for our pups too. Pups could stay gated with us on the deck when we hung out. Had morning coffee in the dock gazebo and watched the visiting deer. Teens loved game room. Pleasant neighbors too. Fire pit was awesome too-perfect for roasting hot dogs and making smores. Very relaxing and enjoyable place!

Dog & Family friendly - a sunny place to stay

Overall, we LOVED this place and hope to visit it again. It was very dog friendly, which is hard to find (separate, but connected fenced yard, fenced deck, dog friendly neighbors, etc.). The deck by the water has a cute gazebo, the game room was a hit with our teens, the sandy beach and kayaks were in great condition, the cove is not crazy busy even on a holiday weekend, and the place was clean and well stocked with standard kitchen/bathroom necessities. My only feedback would be a clearer list of what to bring vs. what they have, further in advance - plan to bring or rent sheets/towels, they have a regular coffee machine, no kettle, but there is a gas grill. They do have paper products to get started, but knowing it's a bit of a drive to a store, bring extras with you as well as things like foil/plastic wrap, spices etc. Thank you for having us!!

Our Family's New Favorite Place

Everything comes as promised at "Here Comes The Sun." And that's a rare thing. Whereas many rental properties pale to their photos and write-ups, this one shines brighter in real life. Me, my wife, and 2 young kiddos had a blast over a long weekend: fishing on the dock, hanging out on the lake "beach," taking the pedal boat for a cruise, roasting s'mores in the fire pit, and playing pool in the game room. I never write reviews, but this place brought us such happiness in a time when we needed it most that I felt compelled to. Have a blast and treat this property well. Cheers!

Great Holiday Weekend

Wonderful location, great dock we’re we caught a ton of fish, plus it was easy to use the kayaks off of it. Gorgeous views the minute you walk in, loved the fire pit and deck area. Super dog friendly side yard, they even had dog bowls. The kitchen had every type of cooking implement, utensils, etc you needed. They had lots of books and dvds, games. Our kids are Grown but would be wonderful for little ones! Deer through out the neighborhood. 15 minute drive to store, restaurants and even wineries. We really enjoyed our stay! Only complaint is there were a lot of spiderwebs that needed to be taken care of on the outside.

Relaxing getaway

Very nice house and we liked that we and our friends could bring or small dogs. Plenty of kitchen supplies, very nice deck and great area for the pups. Plenty of cul decsacs to also walk your pets too. Rectangular small screened in porch area which was great for the day it rained All Day! We also used the kayaks which was nice to have. The game room needs a little updating as the foos ball table and ping pong table need some balancing but we had fun with the ping pong. The AC unit in the garage did not stay on But we weren’t in there a great deal of the time. It’s a great house if you have kids b/c the upstairs has 2bedrooms and PlayStation in the sitting area for the young adults. We really liked watching the deer-a group of 6/7 that hang around a lot. Would definitely go again!
