This sweet house was in the perfect location, close to our favorite restaurants and in a very walkable neighborhood. The house was very clean and well equipped, check in was easy and Sherri responded quickly to our messages. We will definitely be back!

Sherri was an amazing host,very kind, and responsive. Her home was so cute and my son & I enjoyed our visit. He loved watching the old VHS tapes and playing chess. Very family-friendly. The area was safe & quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great Location

Perfect size and location for us & our pup. The dog loved the fenced yard and walkable neighborhood. We loved the amount of restaurants & bars nearby. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

I booked this location for my son who was visiting the area for medical school. He said the place was great. Very clean, quiet and safe. In an ideal location for where he needed to be. Helpful owner. Will stay here again if his travels lead him back.

The property was wonderful, the neighborhood was great, and the host was delightful. Verified recommendation of this property will book it again when I return. Everything was very well taken care of!!!!!

Oh my gosh, Sherri is amazing. She checked in on us regularly and made sure we were okay, she even had breakfast in the freezer to feed my son because I forgot to buy eggs! The house is so sweet and the neighborhood is precious. When I walked my dog, so many neighbors stopped to talk to me and we’re so friendly. I love this place and anytime I come to visit, I will be staying here if it’s available.

My family and I desperately needed a comfortable place to stay to recover and refresh during our multi-state move. We do have 2 dogs and we were worried we would not find a suitable place to rest with our dogs (and us). Sheri (our host) responded immediately to my request and provided just the cutest and most comfortable place to rest our heads. If you are looking for a clean, cool and comfy place to stay in Baton Rouge, LA I highly recommend this cottage!!!!!!! I would give it 11 stars out of 10 if I could!! We were so so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and plan to return in the future to actually spend some quality time in the area!!

In town to visit family

We were in town for a few short days to visit family. The water heater had gone out at the house but the owner called ahead to let me know that and offer to either refund part of our money or help us find another place to stay. We chose to stay and she did in fact, refund a partial payment back to us as promised. The house is super cute and close to everything. She even had coffee and waffles stocked for us! We will definately be back the next time we come to town.

A wonderful place to stay

I stayed in Sherri’s Capital Heights property in Baton Rouge. The location is nestled close to anything you’d need in Baton Rouge. Work, play, dining, shopping, exercise, it’s all less than a 10 minute drive away. Sherri was friendly and responsive throughout the entire stay. The house was fully furnished and stocked with all the necessities. I didn’t want for anything while I was there. The home is situated in the middle of Capital Heights and Steele Place. It’s an upper scale neighborhood with substantial property values and charm. The neighborhood is one that is safe to walk day and night. Nothing but positive things to say about my stay!!

This place was perfect for our family as we were traveling through. Easy to get to, plenty of food options around, Helpful handbook with instructions and restaurant options, menus and coupons. Very accommodating to our pets with a fenced backyard and even a fresh bowl of cold water set out to greet them. Host was very accessible for questions and sending helpful information.
