Blackrock Ranch is truly a one of a kind property. Located in beautiful Horse Cove and just a short 10 minute drive from downtown Highlands. The property has over 50 acres of pristine pasture land and hiking trails to explore! As you enter the property you travel through the historic apple orchard. As you approach the house the view of Blackrock mountain becomes overwhelming. Standing as a back drop to this property, the face of Blackrock mountain dramatically ascends over 1000 feet into the air. The four bedroom three bath house is perfectly situated to frame in the view of Blackrock from every spot in the home. King master suite on main with a private bath, accompanied by a queen guest room and a two twin guest room upstairs. Guest rooms share a full bath. A fully stocked and newly renovated kitchen features marble countertops and an Ilve oven- a chef's dream!! Living area offers generous seating spaces with a large flat screen tv. Walk out to an open deck with seating for 6 and enjoy the unbelievable mountain view! Fourth bedroom and full bath is located downstairs along with 3 twin over twin bunk beds situated in an open entertainment space/gaming area-perfect space for kids to share! Bunk area and fourth bedroom in basement all share a full bath. This property is not pet friendly-no exceptions!! Please inquire for special event rates which include but not limited to family reunions, birthday parties, dinner parties, weddings, and any daytime event gatherings which will exceed the sleep number. Tent, table, and chair rentals available upon request for all of your event needs.

We loved this beautiful Highlands home! It was perfect for our 3 families and the mountain views are just gorgeous! It is just a short drive into downtown Highlands which we loved. The fire pit and ping pong table were enjoyed by all. The host was so sweet and helpful when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again.

A few friends looking for a cabin weekend and this was the perfect spot! Just 15-20 minutes from main road highlands where all the food and shopping is. The property is large and has a great fire pit! The house itself was clean, spacious, and had comfortable sleeping arrangements. The host was 12/10 amazing. Responded quickly when needed, flexible, and have clear / concise instructions. Would rent again!! My friends loved it.

Horse Cove retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your mountain home. The setting was beautiful and quiet. The house was very clean, comfortably furnished and extremely well stocked. I would highly recommend this property!

I know I'll regret posting this. . . As I know this newer rental listing will quickly get snatched up when people find how amazing it is. But IT IS!! The host had a quick response and was very accommodating. As you pull up, all you see is this precious home and a HUGE mountain range that is all to you!! Pictures just dont do it justice! Some of us have been to Switzerland and said it reminds them of it! Just breathtaking views everywhere! Deer in the apple orchard, and wild turkey in the distant fields. It was serene. Since their original photos, they've added more seating at the dining room table, more seating in the living room, as well as outside downstairs under the porch. We had a retreat here, but I cant wait to bring back my family.
