Located in a peaceful area along Lake Chickamauga, you'll find fabulous fishing + water toys + bird watching including Eagles/Osprey + amazing views from Great Room/Kitchen/Master Bedroom! We even updated the Great Room furniture and new king sized bed in the Master Bedroom. You're in luck with high speed fiber optic internet WiFi at this home!

Sleeping Arrangements:
- Master Bedroom = King Bed + Single roll-away bed in Closet with En Suite Bathroom + Smart TV
- Guest Bedroom 1 = Queen Bed + Family Bathroom + TV with Netflix
- Guest Bedroom 2 = Queen Bed + Family Bathroom
- Living Room = Sofa Queen Bed

The private covered boat dock with electrical hook-up provides exceptional access to fishing and other water sports seasonally. Access to power at the dock means you can recharge your boat batteries so you're ready for fishing each day! 2 local boat launches, one mile up the lake(Goodfield public boat ramp) or down the lake (Cottonport Marina), mean you can arrive by boat around mid-April to October depending on TVA.

Complementary use of the 2 Kayaks + 2 Standup Paddle Boards and Paddle Boat are available seasonally for our guests as well. While lake levels vary October to April affecting use of the dock seasonally, the boat launches and lake use are available year around. Download TVA’s app for information on lake levels and other helpful information.

There is plenty of parking in the driveway for 3 vehicles with boat trailers (please back down the driveway when towing trailers) with additional parking in the garage. A deck for sunning, snacking or watching the kids play overlooks the boat dock with a 3-person swing/bed and umbrellas for your comfort. The veranda off the Master Bedroom overlooks the water and dock, or enjoy the generous front porch or back patio. Outdoor ceiling fans offer cool comfort on the porches.

The kitchen is convenient and fully equipped, and the great room design ensures even the chef is included in the conversation and fun. Table with seating for 6 along with 2 bar stools at the breakfast bar. Comfortable, new seating in the great room for watching the Smart TV apps or live channels includes 2 sofas and chaise lounge. This home feels expansive and comfortable with vaulted ceilings and wonderful natural light.

Master bedroom has a new King sized bed (Oct 2021) and 2 Guest bedrooms + Sleeper Sofa have Queen sized beds. All bedrooms have generously sized closets for plenty of storage.

A large lawn area out front gives plenty of space for yard activities including badminton. Two patio areas, front and back, are great places for relaxing and/or BBQ on the gas grill. Enjoy your hot cocoa, s'mores or a glass of wine with friends and family around the outdoor fireplace on the front patio when fall brings those cool evenings.

Dayton, Athens, Decatur, Cleveland are close by with restaurants, shopping, groceries and fuel, and Chattanooga and Knoxville are each one hour's drive for attractions, concerts, historical locations, live music, etc.

Even if you aren't a "bird-watcher" the Osprey and Bald Eagles will amaze you during the day and the river otter will charm you at dusk. You'll love the beautiful sunsets over the water at the end of each day. This quiet neighborhood provides a peaceful environment for catching up on your sleep. Close your eyes, relax! You're on vacation already!!
