Awesome historic home

We had a wonderful time. This huge home was very comfortable for everyone. We traveled with our 4 adults kids and their families. Each family had their own private area, plus there were common areas for all of us to gather. Great place.

Furness (1832-1916),  who Furnessville takes its name from. Over the years, what was once a massive estate has now mostly been designated to National Park, while this thoughtfully restored mansion is able to provide the public with its historic charm and modern amenities. The mansion holds countless stories and precious memories of nearly two centuries worth of family celebrations.  Whether you are here for a romantic weekend, a quiet solo escape, or a family getaway, our rooms and suites are specifically designed to feel like your home away from home. Run by four local healthcare professionals, caring for others is our full time job.
