Come visit this 7 bedroom home in Michigan City with the family. The house has a great open concept that allows you to spend time together in the living room, dining room, and the kitchen. Theres an outdoor porch and closed porch to relax in, the backyard has a grill and pinic table as well as extra chairs to lounge in, and a hot tub. The house is located just 5 minutes away from Washington Park Beach, you can have fun visiting the lake, casino, breweries, wineries or just hang out at the house and cook out and hang in the hot tub.

New Buffalo is 10 minutes away and the Indiana Dunes are 15 minutes from the home.

The hot tub is on during winter too!

First Floor:
Bed 1 - Queen bed with pack and play in the closet for baby and an inflatable twin size bed in the closet
Bed 2 - Queen bed

Second Floor:
Bed 3- Queen Bed and queen size inflatable bed + pack and play for baby in the closet
Bed 4- Queen Bed and Bunk Beds
Bed 5- Queen Bed and inflatable twin size bed in closet
Bed 6- Two sets of bunk beds, two pull out beds underneath the bunk beds
Bed 7- Queen bed with its own bathroom

Please note the bedding is washed after each visit, and the home is cleaned and sanitized after every visit.

Karen was responsive, kind, and pleasant. The space was open concept which worked out perfectly to keep an eye on the kids in the playpen while we cooked. The home was clean and spacious, my only note would be if you’re traveling with teens like we were there aren’t many TV’s for them to hook up a gaming system to. There were many games on the premise and a hot tub. So this spaces definitely has its perks. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We could have used more bath towels, toilet paper, & tissues for the 10 of us, but we got by with the supplies on-hand & picked up some of our own.

There were some holes in walls, one closet door was off the track, one stool was broken, the countertop ice maker was insufficient, the tv remote batteries were dead, towels were in short supplyThis is truly a great house, these items are all pretty minor, and could easily be corrected

Nice amount of space for family gatherings. Our host was helpful & friendly. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking /eating there with a large group you will need extra cutlery. We had a good experience.

Family Trip 2025

We traveled with a group that consisted of 5 different families. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out during the day and then plenty of beds when it was time to sleep. The dining room and kitchen was great for hosting dinners. The backyard space was fantastic for the kids to hang out in and get to run around. The location of the home was convenient for the beach, outlet mall, grocery stores, and more! The owners were great to work with and very quick to respond.

The overall house was inviting, clean, updated, and had plenty of room. Upon arrival we noticed the floors had sandy grit on them and were extremely dirty when walking, the pillows are very thin and seemed old, and not all jets were working in the hot tub. One set of sheets on a bed had stains as well. We did have two people with us that were handicapped so it was difficult for them to get in and out of the main floor shower area as it has a high tub. A suggestion would be to put handicap bars in this bathroom or completely get rid of the tub and use a walk-in shower. There was also a hole in one of the bedroom walls from the door handle. Again, this house is overall very nice but in a very questionable neighborhood.

Great place!

The house was beautiful and clean! It was perfect for our family vacation! We loved the big table that we could all fit around and the 7 bedrooms were great ! We enjoyed the hot tub too! It was close to the beach and the outlet mall which was definitely a plus ! We would definitely rent it again!

Girls Trip

Our group of ladies have been doing wk end “girls” trips for 25 years and this place was perfect for our group. Freshly remodeled. Clean and stocked. So many bedrooms and bathrooms, we all had space. Super large dining table with room for all to eat together. We never tried the hot tub but appreciated it being included. Close to the outlets and casino. We enjoyed some local restaurants too. Thanks for a great stay.

I am a fellow Illinoisan, I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, I graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, and when I was growing up I would visit the Indiana Dunes, New Buffalo, St. Joseph, and visited many beach towns up on the Lake Michigan coast. I work in the mortgage industry and have a family of 4, as I got older I became very fond of my childhood memories coming to Lake Michigan and enjoying the beach. I hope you enjoy our vacation home and make those same memories our family has made.

With so many bedrooms it's easy to accommodate a big family trip on an affordable budget. The home was recently renovated and designed for your comfort.

The property is a 5 minute drive from Washington Park Beach, very close to New Buffalo, Indiana Dunes, and not too far from Chicago. The house has a hot tub to relax in, and is great entertainment areas both inside the kitchen and in the backyard. Michigan City is also growing and has very unique eateries. The house is a perfect check point if you're driving in from the city, or if you're visiting from somewhere else and are tempted to drive to Chicago, or up the Michigan coast.
