Nuestra casa de nueva construcción se encuentra directamente frente al camino de la playa (parada de la playa 11) en Lake Shore Drive. La casa fue terminada en junio de 2018. La casa tiene una distribución abierta: la cocina se abre a los salones / comedores. La casa tiene 7 dormitorios, 4 baños, un sótano completamente terminado, una gran cubierta delantera y un porche cubierto en la parte posterior.

Nuestra casa tiene 7 dormitorios y 4 baños completos. Los diseños de dormitorios son los siguientes:

Dormitorio principal - 1 cama king, TV, baño privado con ducha y bañera
2do dormitorio - 1 cama queen
3er dormitorio - 1 cama queen
Cuarto dormitorio - 1 cama matrimonial, 1 cama individual
5 º dormitorio - 1 cama king
6 º dormitorio - 1 cama de matrimonio
Dormitorio séptimo: 2 literas, dos camas individuales y una cama individual adicional

El espacio

Le encantará esta casa de vacaciones directamente frente al camino de la playa en Lake Shore Drive. Nuestra casa tiene un par de excelentes opciones al aire libre: una gran terraza en la parte delantera de la casa y un porche de pantalla en la parte posterior. El interior de la casa tiene un diseño abierto, con la cocina abierta al área de comedor y sala de estar. La gran mesa de comedor tiene capacidad para 10 - 11 personas (8 sillas y un banco). También tenemos una mesa plegable adicional para 4 personas y sillas en la despensa que se pueden agregar a la mesa del comedor para una gran cena. El salón tiene un gran sofá seccional. El sótano tiene una sala de estar con 2 sofás y 2 sillones adicionales.

Hay 3 televisores en la casa: la sala de estar y el sótano tienen televisores de pantalla grande con acceso a Comcast Cable y Roku. El dormitorio principal tiene un televisor Roku. La casa dispone de internet inalámbrico (wifi). Hay espacio para hasta 5 vehículos en el camino de entrada en frente de la casa.

Esta casa tiene un montón de atractivo durante todo el año. Es ideal para unas vacaciones de verano en la playa, una escapada de otoño para ver las hermosas hojas, el fin de semana de fútbol de Notre Dame, un tranquilo retiro de invierno nevado, un relajante descanso de primavera o un fin de semana de cata de vinos en cualquier momento.

Loved the BEACH

So close to the beach! Great big home. As described. Could use more paper towels, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner. Overall, very comfortable.

This location was perfect and the home was large enough to meet our group’s needs. The common areas were also large and open, easily accommodating our size group. We enjoyed the beach! The hosts were responsive when we had questions. The home also left a bit to be desired - it was clear there was some water damage to the home at one time and many areas that had been patched, but not sanded or painted. TV and fan remotes were either missing or didn't have batteries. There were some drainage/plumbing issues in the upstairs bathroom. The furniture was worn and dated. Cleaning service also appeared to have skipped an entire bathroom.

Great place for our group of 15. Easy access to Lake Michigan, and plenty of space to spread out. A couple of broken items were there when we arrived, but nothing detrimental to our experience.

We were a large group- 5 families. We all fit in the house with plenty of room. Kitchen and eating area work well for big meals. Beach access was perfect. House is a little run down, but all just cosmetic and what I expect from a vacation rental. I would rent again.

Family gathering

We had a family gathering for 18 people and had plenty of room for everyone. We were able to park 5 vehicles with no issues in the driveway. The house is across the street from the beach with a short walk.

Family Wedding Spot

This was a great place to host our family and friends who were coming into town for a family wedding. Lots of rooms and great location. It seems like it has some wear and tear so don't think it's brand new but the owner was super attentive to the repairs needed and made sure to respond to my messages quickly. I'd definitely recommend it for a family and friends get together!

A great long weekend stay.

The house was wonderful. Our group of 11 friends found the house to be a lovely getaway for a long weekend. When we checked in we noted a few small issues and the host , Colin, came to address them right away. The layout is great for a large group and having two porches is a nice bonus. We are already making plans to return to this house again.

We had the best time! Location was perfect!

The shore line was just steps away and being out there looking at that huge body of water was breathtaking! It was cool but refreshing at the same time! The house had plenty of room the beds were comfortable and we all slept great! I had some questions about the area before we arrived and Collin our host replied within the hour with all kinds of resources and we appreciated that so much! We hope to be back again next year!

Thanksgiving weekend away

Our family of 17 stayed for 4 nights, the house was perfect for us - plenty of very comfortable beds and space. Kitchen was very well stocked and house was very clean. The owner Colin was very quick to respond to the few questions we had. It was too cold to be at the beach but water was literally across the street. I would highly recommend this house!

Family time

The house is awesome for 13 people however it needs a deep clean with some numerous minor repairs needed, have a list of 13 items which need repair. Also some TLC but overall perfect location but not paying listing price for next year!

Great House and Location

This was a great spot for a beach vacation--the house was spacious and an easy walk to the beach. We'd stay here again if pets were allowed. The hosts were very responsive--there were a few minor things that would have been nice to have (salt/pepper shakers, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent), but the hosts had more pods delivered when we asked about their location. They also had a new coffee maker delivered when the current one stopped working.

Tidy but microwave didn't work!

The home is tidy and stocked at the level expected of a rental but not super clean. The microwave by all appearances should function - timer runs and it makes noise but doesn't heat anything which is tough when eating out and with children. Overall a nice stay, easy check in and out, and great access to the private beach a short walk away.

Great location. Steps from the beach, however, the dishwasher was broken (we were told about that) and we were given no compensation for that. The property overall felt dirty and poorly stocked.

Great house for large group

Property was great. Host was very quick with responses. A 2nd refrigerator would have been very helpful with a large group. We agree with others about the towels. Definitely need an upgrade. We all felt like the towels were so old and picked up at the Goodwill from an estate sale. Air conditioner worked great since it was very hot and humid during our stay.

Denise - I will get new towels put in the house immediately, thanks for letting me know! I agree that a 2nd refrigerator would be a good idea. I am planning to add a spot in the basement for a 2nd refrigerator this fall/winter so it is in place for 2023. I am glad your stay went well and thanks again for renting from us!

Book Club 20th Anniversary

This house was huge and the bedrooms and bathrooms were most sufficient and comfortable. The host was very easy to work with and accommodating on a few small issues we had. The access to the lake and beachfront was so easy and accessible. Beautiful beach. There were 10 of us and this property was more than sufficient for us. It does need a bit of tender loving care though. The sun porch was dirty and the metal strip on the stove was coming off. A few towel racks had come down and not been replaced but just left with the mounting hardware. Little things like that which made it good not excellent on the review

Lake House

The place is in a great location and sleeps a lot of people but it was not clean, bare minimum furniture which was old and uncomfortable. Provided only the smallest amount of staples - Toilet paper, paper towels, etc. (although he stated that in his instructions). Deck and porch furniture was falling apart. The place looked like a college apartment. For the price we were Very disappointed

Great stau

Was a great place for 10 adults and 13 children to stay. It was very cold and windy unfortunately but people still walked to the beach and enjoyed it. Lots of space. We didn't use the downstairs living room, as we wanted to be together. But there was plenty of space on the kitchen level. We even fit all 13 at the dining room table by adding some of the bar stools at the table. A few upgrades would definitely help: towel rack off wall on middle level; broken bench on deck by beach, definitely needed more than 2 dishwasher pods with so many people. A couple beds supported on corner books, downstairs bath had rusty vent and could use some paint.

Great Summer Getaway

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving here and had a wonderful time. The views of the lake are stunning. My only reservation is that the place appears to be focused on summer rentals. For example, there are no extra blankets, just the thin ones on the beds. Also while there are two excellent gas grills on the deck one propane tank was empty and the other was one third full. Despite that it worked out great for our family. In our master bedroom the toilet roll holder was missing from the wall. In another bedroom our daughter said the first pull on the paper roll and it broke from the wall. This is the fifth year we have celebrated Thanksgiving at Lake Michigan and this place was one of the best.

TLC

This property has a lot of space and a lot of rooms. The location was ideal. We had two kids (4 and 6) who could easily walk to the beach with no hesitation. We didn't have a stroller, but a stroller would have a tough time accessing the beach. The house itself needs a lot of TLC and/or updates. There were a lot of missing paint patches over the walls, cabinets falling apart, stained sheets on the bottom of one of the bunk beds, the dishwasher was broken and the fridge never got cold enough for drinks. So, for the price we paid, it was a little disappointing. If those things are fixed or updated, we will definitely be back.

Visiting the Indiana National Park was the goal which we accomplished but I would NOT recommend the VRBO at Lake Shore Dr that was a 7 bedroom beach home. There was too many things in disrepair and did NOT even come close making it a pleasant place to stay. Some of the major issues include a non working kitchen sink drain, HVAC didn’t work after the second night, fire alarms going off at all times during day and night, cold water faucet broken on jacuzzi and bath tub drains not holding water. Also it was very unsafe for having a crawling infant as screen doors to front deck were ripped. No baby gates to keep crawling infant off all the stairs or a working & safe Pack n Play. After arriving home from trip, I composed a list of 26 items that needed the owner’s attention. Owner was notified immediately as soon as issues arose or were identified. I felt that I got a run around when corresponding to owner. Most of the things were issues that had been there for quite sometime.My husband and son in law have 60 years of home construction between them as well as years as a building inspector. The few items I have identified in this message are all safety and health code violations!
