Enjoy our very roomy, 1,500 sq. ft. lake level private guest suite, in our Owner occupied home, only a 3 minute walk from Dusty's Landing
Watch boats, canoes, kayaks and fishermen float by while enjoying our water level patio. Our 3 bedroom (3rd BR is is available for 3 or more additional "paid" guests), 2 baths, fireplace, "large foyer used as 2nd BR", living room, and fully stocked kitchen all with water view and walkout patio. Laundry, WiFi, local TV and Roku, pontoon rental for a water visit to lake restaurants and bars. Fishing on 230' sea wall with fishing equipment provided

Easy day trips to visit NFL HOF, Ohio & Erie Canalway, Cuyahoga Vally National Park, Akron Zoo, Cleveland Zoo, Cedar Point, Rock & Roll HOF and Cleveland sports teams. Today, most residents living in the area will tell you they live in Portage Lakes which encompasses the cities of New Franklin, Green and Coventry Twp. If a resident tells another Ohio resident they are from Portage Lakes, most will know where you live. When given the official name of your resident city, the majority will have no idea where you live.
During the 1980's and 1990's a transition from weekend cottages to upscale modern homes began. As Carolyn Vogenitz, author of 'Portage Lakes Then & Now' has stated, it became a sardine & caviar look. Many a new upscale home might sit next to a tiny cottage dating back to the early 1900's.
