This was a perfect getaway house for a large gathering of friends and family. There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well-stocked, there were fishing poles, corn hole and all sorts of games and activities to keep everyone busy. The only thing that was difficult for us were the stairs, given the age of some in our group. But, the fact that there are stairs to the entrance and a second floor were obvious from the pictures. Just pointing it out in case someone older is considering renting the property. We have AT&T and did not have cell service while on the property. We had to rely on the WiFi, which wasn't super strong, but adequate.

Absolutely stunning

We spent a weekend at this beautiful house, words can’t describe how amazing it was. Joyce was so responsive and was a phenomenal host. Our family got to spend so much quality time together, I will dream about this place!

Family Get Away

We were three families (14 people) vacationing together at the house. We had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious and the amount of bathrooms was ideal. We enjoyed getting around the grounds via the golf cart. Loved fishing at the pier and sun bathing at the beach. We had a blast around the fire pit at night. This is a wonderful house and location!

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in the area. The house and surrounding property was unbelievably beautiful and was well stocked. We were amazed how every nook and cranny of the house was used. We thoroughly enjoyed the covered porches, fire pits, and dock. An incredible experience and we look forward to coming again soon.

Beautiful home on estate property on Intracoastal

We celebrated Thanksgiving with family and the property was amazing! Plenty of room for fun, games, and cooking. The home came stocked with firewood and a large fireplace in a pergola and three other fire pits. Such a wonderful property to spend time with family! Miss Joyce the property manager was very nice and helpful.

Great Christmas in beautiful home

Our family spent Christmas in this beautiful home. The pictures don't do it justice. The house, game room, and surrounding grounds were clean and made for a wonderful environment four our family to enjoy Christmas together, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out, play games, eat together, and relax without ever feeling cramped. This truly is a fantastic place to stay.

Great getaway

Wonderful house and property. Grounds were a little wet but it’s eastern NC so it’s to be expected. Dock was very nice with a good breeze to keep the bugs down and keep you cool. House was absolutely amazing but I think the hot of the stay was the outdoor fireplace. Definitely will be returning.

Beautiful place for a family vacation and wedding

The property is beautiful and plenty of room. My family absolutely loved it. The only thing I would suggest is to treat the outdoors for mosquitoes. They were pretty bad. That was the only complaint my guest had at the wedding.

A Dream Come True

We had a wonderful time with the whole immediate family. All five of our daughters, their husbands, my grand babies and their dogs were under one roof. The house was large and majestic. Absolutely beautiful. It was large and spacious. Clean and beautifully arranged and decorated. The outdoor fireplace and fire pits were love by all. Having the dock for fishing and the golf cart was a hit!

Just WOW!

The pictures and the listing do not to this property justice! We held my son’s wedding here and the weekend was outstanding! The house is absolutely beautiful, and spacious enough to house all of our family. The house is out of town, tucked on the inter coastal waterway. The entrance is just the start to this stunning property, with a well kept yard, a large fire pit, large covered patio with a fireplace, and a roof top deck with breathtaking views. What an incredible place to celebrate!

C&As wedding

The house was spacious, clean and very easy to be in. Having the large eat in kitchen table, helped us be together, while following Covid guidelines. 2 refrigerators ,help hold all the necessities for our gala. Our pups had lots of running room and a fenced in area when we needed them contained. The pavilion held tables and wedding necessities. I cannot say enough about how well this property worked for our wedding. I highly recommend it if you are having a wedding. MS Joyce, property manager did an awesome job assisting me w all my questions and needs

Perfect Property!

We have been to this house twice and absolutely love it. Joyce has been a pleasure to work with and has had answers to any questions within hours! Our group is 6-8 men and it's been a great getaway for us! It's a nice break from the wives and children. We can bring our boats and dock them at the end of the house - it's pretty perfect. This place is gated and secluded and we really love it. Days are spent fishing, relaxing at the house and building fires in the evening, and watching sports on the several tvs. We love the tv in the kitchen (and the second fridge in the mud room), the huge couch and huge tv in the kitchen, plus the game room with pool and poker tables has a nice tv as well. The kitchen is large and fits all of us very well (we cook every meal at our vacation home), tons of bedrooms and bathrooms on every level, rooftop access for an amazing view, plentiful firewood for any of the three fire pits, as well as a golf cart! That golf cart is a blessing so we don't have to carry coolers from the house to the dock (the front yard is HUGE!), and carrying firewood if we need. We can't wait to return in 2017!

Wedding Weekend of the year!

JUST WOW!! We drove from DC for my son's wedding. I was in charge of the rehearsal dinner, the wedding party was huge & needed room to make the cake. I reached out to Joyce w/questions, she responds within hour & was in contact w/me the 4 months leading up to it. Bless her! The kitchen is fully stocked, every possible pan, pot, bowl, dish -if I had to pick something they need it would be kitchen knifes. The 6 burner stove, double ovens, the stand alone ice maker -we discovered late so we never used it -but it is there. The sink with the 3 sinks & the huge amounts of cabinet space. They even have a giant pot for crab boils. The laundry room beside the kitchen has an extra fridge & both fridges have an ice maker. Coffee you ask, both a drip pot & a Keurig. We had enough space in the laundry room to set up a 6 foot table for work space during the dinner. Let's move on to the bedrooms-the beds had good bedding and comfortable. Each room has a HUGE bathroom w/double sinks & showers there are no tubs. Did I mention the that the house was always at the perfect temp? Wood was cut & ready for 3 firepits. The covered deck out back has lights, ceiling fans, gas grill. The dock was epic w/space for boats & a fishing dock. We used every single inch of the property and it was perfect! There is a parking lot that can hold up to 20 cars or so & garage for 3. The property was manicured, clean & welcoming. I could keep going, but they limit me to 1500 characters. So much more to share!

Beautiful Setting

Beautiful location! 20-30 minutes from other things like grocery stores, but perfect for getting ready for a wedding! Management was communicative for any questions or needs. Plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and serving ware for a dinner. Would recommend.

AH-MAZING

Between the size of the property and home and the incredible views, if you're even thinking about renting this place, just do it. You won't regret it for a second. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations - though a little farther than we'd planned from Beaufort, it was well worth the drive into town each day. Well-appointed, quiet and clean - we absolutely loved it here and hope to stay again soon!

Wedding Weekend

There isn’t enough space to share how pleased we were with the property, management and scenery. We had a small wedding with friends and family by the water with the reception in the back. The home is beautiful with plenty of space to fit several families. The kids had so much fun exploring and finding all kinds of critters. We are grateful for all of the hospitality as this location holds so many memories for us.
