Come enjoy our conveniently located 4 bedroom, 1 acre property in Beaufort, NC! Ideal for families or couples looking for a peaceful get-away or outdoor adventure, with restaurants & practical amenities at your fingertips. We are a 5 min drive from historic downtown Beaufort, with an array of waterfront dining, breweries, & shops. The property is positioned on North River- known for incredible fishing, bird watching, & boating. We are a 10 min boat ride from Taylor's Creek and 20 min boat ride from Cape Lookout National Seashore. We also own the adjacent property that sleeps up to 5 guests (Wipe Your Feet Retreat)

This brick-built ranch home is charming & private. The spacious den and adjoining covered back deck allows groups and families to congregate, while still being comfortable. Use the back deck to grill and socialize, or simply take in nature, while overlooking our large lot, backyard dock, and the Crystal Coast sunsets. The kitchen is fully functional, and empties out into a large dining & sitting area with views of North River. The property is located at the end of a neighborhood on a non-busy street, making it great for kids. There is also a smaller fenced in area off of the deck that is ideal for those looking to vacation with their pet (REQUIRES APPROVAL FROM HOST). The Host is a Beaufort native & lives locally. We are committed to making sure you have an enjoyable stay!

WATER ACCESS: Our backyard's private dock provides water access for boats. Flat bottom boats are recommended (V-shaped boats draw too much water for our canal). There are many public boat ramps in the area, including three that are less than a 10 minute drive. Please message Hosts with any questions!

BEACH: Radio Island beach access is a 5 min drive. Atlantic Beach is approximately a 10 min drive.

GOLF COURSE: The Beaufort Club Golf Course is less than 2 miles from our property. It is semi-private and available for non-members to play year round.

PETS: Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet. This requires a conversation with the Hosts prior to finalizing the booking. Generally we are ok with 1 to 2 pets totaling up to 50 lbs. There will be a $100 pet fee applied to the reservation for each pet.

Recreation: Birdwatching, Crab Pots, Cast net, Cornhole Boards, Disc Golf, Bocce Ball, Surfboards, Pool Table, Kids bikes, Foosball Table, Dart Board, or 3 person Old Town Canoe!

This is a wonderful home to stay in especially for a large family. The house is so spacious and comfortable. We love that there is so much seating in the den so that we all can relax.

Check-in process was a breeze, the house is easy to find with ample parking. We were amazed at the spacious kitchen and family room and had plenty of room for fun and games at the dining room table. Check-out was just as easy with a few simple requests.

Great house for family get together. Fenced in yard is great for dogs in or small children. Big dining room for family meals. Big family room to relax in.

Great family rental

House was a great family rental. Close to beach, shopping and other attractions but still in a nice peaceful neighborhood. Our host were great answering any questions prior to check in and during our stay. Huge yard and with section fenced in for our dog. Our kids love the converted garage to game room. The host have onsite everything needed for a fun experience.

Impromptu Family Gathering

The house was very comfortable for our big group.The Outdoor porch was very Great and our dogs enjoyed the yard and beyond , Beautiful sunsets .We also enjoyed the bird activity immensely. The place could use some updating. But it served its purpose. Communication with the owners was quick and seamless.

Great stay, close to everything in and around Beaufort

Our stay in Beaufort felt like a visit to a Southern grandma we never had! The house was delightfully old and impeccably clean, with creaky floorboards and a warm, nostalgic vibe. The waterfowl artifacts scattered throughout brought a familiar touch of home, making it feel like I was back on the family farm on the Eastern Shore, surrounded by coastal charm. Izzy, our dog, was thrilled with the enormous yard – she claimed it as her own personal playground and may have been the happiest 'guest' of all! The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from downtown, the beach, and all the area sights. And for the price? You can't beat it.

We enjoyed our stay. The large family room, the back deck with swing and fenced in back yard were the favorites. The grandbabies loved to go wee on the swing.

Perfect getaway

We loved the house and the location. The swing on the back porch was loved by all, especially the grandbabies. We caught crabs with the crab pots. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs. The older grandkids loved it the game is room in the garage. Great place to stay

supplied a lot of extras

huge living room and great back porch. fenced yard for our dog. Owners supplied a lot of things you need like extra paper towels, TP etc. Quiet neighborhood. They are very responsive and nice.

Excellent choice, A/C was hit or miss

This property has a 4 bedrooms with a huge beautiful yard for the kids. We hope to stay here again for future Beaufort Pirate Invasions! Cons were that Pillows on non-master beds could be better, and the AC didnt quite cool the house down. Weather was great so we didn't mind, and the host provided fans. The crab pots were awesome and the proximity to everything was great.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our long weekend at this house. The porch swing was great to relax in while enjoying the open and private backyard. My husband went fishing on a local head boat while were in the area. We cooked up his fresh catch and paired it with crabs from the crab pods on the property. Thank you, this was a great stay!

Wonderful property and hosts

The hosts have thought of everything with this property. Indoor and outdoor entertainment is covered as well as the basics you need for your stay. I didn't need to pack much beyond clothes, toiletries, and food. Our children really enjoyed crabbing and fishing at the dock and it was really nice to be able to take our boat out to fish and visit Beaufort. The yard has a warren of bunnies that are comical to watch from the porch as well as many beautiful birds that visit the stocked bird feeder. It is such a peaceful and relaxing location. The hosts were easy to access with questions and couldn't have been nicer when we needed some nautical navigation assistance. We will definitely be back to stay again!!

Great Property

The location of the house was perfect! We brought our boat to do some fishing and had our choice of many public boat ramps within 10 minutes from the house. Very quiet neighborhood and with very little traffic. The owners were very responsive to questions I had before and during our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

A perfect getaway for our families!

We had the BEST vacation in years! The house is set up well to accommodate more than one family. The location of the house is a 7 min drive to downtown Beaufort. The owners were very communicative. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back for sure!

Feels like Home

Shortly after we arrived, Kelly came to bring us more towels in case they're weren't enough (which there were) and to check his crab pods. Super nice!! We talked about how cool the house was, and he explained that it had been his grandparents'. SO Neat! It brought on a whole new feeling to the house, like we were going on summer vacation to Grandma's! Beds were comfy, living room is huge, and fenced in yard was perfect for letting our pup out! Kitchen is well equipped, too. We spent some time fishing from the dock, also. This house was so full of character - hardwood floors, huge fireplace in living area, and more! We will definitely keep this one at the top of our list for next time!!

Home away from home but BETTER

Brittany and Kelly provided my family a wonderful home away from home. It is spacious and comfortable. Every where you look brings a smile to my face from the birds at the feeders, to the bunnies running around in the yard to the crabs that filled the crab pots. This home had comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out through out the house during the day. From linens and cookware/dishes to the corn hole and other games, we were well taken care of. They seemed to of thought of everything. The short walk to the back pier is the perfect place to watch the sun set or even just on the covered back porch in the swing. We had plenty of room to run around and play in the yard and there was even a fire pit near the back at the waterway. If you have kayaks or boats, this is an ideal home to bring your family to. We hope to return to this home in Beaufort in the future.

Our home, located just outside of Beaufort City limits, was built by the host’s grandparents in 1968. So many fond memories were created growing up in this home and the surrounding area. Clamming, crabbing, fishing trips, and hunting trips all come to mind. We are excited to offer those experiences to others. We take great pride to ensure that our guests have a wonderful stay when visiting the Crystal Coast. Feel free to inquire about places to visit and things to do during your stay. Brittany and Kelly live nearby and are well versed on local attractions and restaurants.
