Great Lakefront Getaway

The property was excellent for our family. It was convenient to many hikes, the stargazing on the dock was wonderful, and our children enjoyed the swingset.

Great cottage and location!

We loved the cottage and the location, near the end of the lake looking across at the undeveloped part of the lake. It was definitely one of the best cottages that we have stayed in. Highly recommended.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. Location was great Support from the host was great but from VRBO it was not

Great stay at the cottage, everything we needed for 2 couples to enjoy a lakeside retreat. Enjoyed the dock every morning and the fire pit at night- awesome deck with a BBQ. Very quiet part of the lake- feels like you're the only one there. wonderful.

Peaceful lake front getaway

5 of us stayed for a weekend and had a great time! The property manager was amazing and ensured all needs were met and answered any questions we had. The lake was so peaceful, and paired with the dock made the perfect place to sit out and enjoy the sun and views.

It really is a great location. Detached house with two balconies and a garden by the water, even featuring a private jetty in the lake. Free use of the canoe. The house has three fine bedrooms and a beautiful living room with a view of the lake. The only downside is that the single bathroom with a toilet is a bit small, and with four people, it is a bit of a struggle with just one toilet. However, this is a layout that is common in somewhat older houses. This is more than compensated for by the location. The host is very friendly and responds quickly and clearly in communication. Highly recommended.

Calma Getaway

This was a great spot for our family of 6. Cute house with everything you need. Great yard and firepit in front of the lake. Location central to Tobermory, Lions Head and several beaches. We had a great time and highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at Miller Lake

The cottage was exactly what my girlfriends needed for a restful and relaxing weekend. Cottage was cozy and clean. Well furnished and stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Our overall experience was good because it’s close to all the places in tobermory. The only problem we had was there is no AC in the cottage. But we still enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Getaway

We had amazing 3 day stay. There were 5 of us 2 teens, two 30-40 year olds and myself over 65 we all had a good time the house and property worked for all of us. Beautiful deck & BBQ, well set up fire area and good size deck. Close to all attractions. I would definitely rebook this property.

Quiet place to relax in late fall

Had a great time relaxing in a comfortable little house on the lake. Check in was easy with a door code. Furniture was comfortable, nice gift basket was on the table. Beds were comfortable and the place was fairly clean. Star gazing was incredible at night. For those late October night viewing a heater on the deck could be a nice bonus. Overall great experience.

If I could give a 4.5 star, I would. We had a wonderful experience. A couple of very minor issues but we would do it again without hesitation. The customer service was outstanding and they were available to answer any questions at anytime. The cottage was exactly as shown. It was so peaceful. The cottage amenities included more than we expected. Thank you and we look forward to working with you next year.

Calma retreat , is the best place we've stayed

This rental was amazing. It was exactly what we were looking for. My wife and children look forward to our yearly trips up to the Peninsula , and so far, we all agree this was our favourite place to stay. It was clean , quite and right on the water front. The location is perfect , its close to everything the Peninsula has to offer, or if you're like me, you can just relax on the dock and enjoy the beauty of Miller Lake. One thing that MUST be said. My wife and I usually have problems sleeping in places that aren't our home. But the beds were SO comfortable ( and didn't squeak ) that we both slept like babies. I cannot reccomend this cottage more. We will be coming back again.

No wifi

The cottage has a stunning view and the dock off the lake is wonderful for a relaxing getaway. The house had no wifi even though it says it did due to some connection issues. There is no air conditioning which was ok for us as it was cool for most of the weekend. There is not alot of pantry space for food brought up and the bathroom is very small. My husband of 6'2 found it difficult to navigate. The beds were extremely soft for our liking but overall we enjoyed our time away.

I liked the place and it is in a good and quiet area, nice view of the lake, spacious house for 7 people, they just have to improve the cleaning of the floor and cover them beds and sheets, smell old. But the others were fine.
