Located on the white sands of Playa Langosta, just a short 10 minute walk to the center of Tamarindo, Crystal Sands was designed to match the beauty of its natural surroundings. Lush tropical gardens and landscaping embrace the expansive common area, which includes a large pool, spa, and outdoor covered dining area. Extra conveniences, such as outdoor beach showers, and underground parking add to the amenities inside the secure perimeter.

The condo is large – 3100 square feet. Inside the unit you’ll find an expansive and luxurious living and dining area. Cable TV and free Wifi keep you connected to the outside world as you spread out and relax on the deck over looking the Pacific Ocean. A large gas BBQ on the deck is perfect for grilling your favorite seafood and the elegant custom kitchen will give you the opportunity to create your special tropical delights. And better yet you can dine on the balcony, while enjoying the truly magnificent sunsets

Three large bedrooms each with a private bath and spacious closets give each visitor the chance for privacy and quiet time if they choose. The master bedroom is huge, with sliding glass doors that open to the deck.

Perfect stay. We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, bedding and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked. It was a beautiful place and the staff on site was great. Our hostess was very responsive when we had questions. The last day we were there the management service notified us there would be a scheduled power outage in enough time for us to plan our week so we wouldn't be at the condo during that time. Would highly recommend.

This condo is truly a wonderful property! We stayed here for a week and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The condo is very well stocked with everything you will possibly need. It was spotless upon check-in and the host, Annette, was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The location is perfect. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo to enjoy the quiet, but close enough for a short drive or Uber to town for a nice meal or a day at the beach. Our favorite part was watching sunsets from the balcony. The view is perfect for watching the sun slowly drift beyond the horizon. I’ve rented quite a few VRBO properties over the years and this one is at the very top of the list. If you’re considering renting this condo, I highly recommend you do so. You won’t be disappointed. I would absolutely stay here again.

If I could give this property 100 stars, I would. This place was beautiful, from the view on the balcony to the inside. It was perfect for our stay, it had literally everything you needed and extra and when I say extra I definitely mean it. The amount of extra towels, blankets was impressive. The property was just gorgeous and the host was amazing, we only needed them once because and it was super small but still Annette was very responsive. My family of 5 really enjoyed this place and felt at home here. We would definitely rent again. Security guards are the sweetest and so attentive making you feel very safe. It’s close to town but far enough to enjoy peace. We rode scooters every time to town, we enjoyed it so much. If you’re in doubt, hopefully this review helps seal the deal because it truly is absolutely amazing. So just click that button and rent it.

I couldn’t have picked a better place for my family of four to stay! This unit is so spacious and so very well stocked! Also its location is perfection. It’s quite and safe and yet a perfect walk or uber ride to all the loud and fun of Tamarindo. Highly recommend!

We completely loved this place. It was bigger than we thought, clean and our kids were totally impressed. The views of the sunset are unbeatable. The host was very responsive and made finding it, checking in and checking super easy. When we come back, we will 100% staying here again. The security guards were so friendly. The pool was clean and my youngest child loved it. You are only 5 minutes away from Tamarindo so it’s super close. But far enough away that you can escape the noise if you want.

We were greeted by a perfectly cleam house, a fresh loaf of bread from Refugio, with a dipping sauce. It was a nice touch!The house is beautiful and the beach was an excellent place to explore tide pools when the tide was low. There is not much sand on Playa Langosta when the tide is high, but a short walk down the beach will get you to the same of Tamarindo. Bring water shoes to walk around the rocks on the beach near the house. We appreciated the house having boogie boards and chairs for us to use!The downtown is about one mile from the house, and the walk feels long when it is hot or humid, so you should consider renting a golf cart. We got one from the place next door from Refugio. Be advised that you won't be allowed to park the golf cart and your car in the parking garage, but there is safe parking outside for the car and charging for the golf cart in the garage.Overall, we had a great stay and would stay again!

Shiloh, I appreciate you taking the time to complete a review of your stay at Crystal Sands. We love the walk into Tamarindo via the beach during the day and along the road in the evening. The beach in Tamarindo is calmer than in front of the condo and easier for children to navigate although there are smaller tidal pools around Crystal Sands that are perfect for kids. When the tides are out the tidal pools are fun to explore and if you want a different perspective on sunset an excellent place to watch. Come back to stay with us again when you return to Costa Rica. Amazing place! We have been to Annettes place several times and it’s amazing every time.The owner is a pleasure to deal with and the managing company is great. You can tell they care about their property and have bought new appliances in the kitchen, fans on the terrace, new washer dryer etc. It is very well maintained. The Location on Langosta beach can’t be beat. We hope to be back soon.

Absolutely beautiful Condo! We arrived to a clean, beautifully decorated condo with a welcome gift of fresh local bread and coffee. The mornings and evenings spent on the balcony were wonderful. Lovely beach outside, and a short walk to either Tamarindo beach or Playa Longasta. We rented a golf cart and found it very easy to get groceries etc. We will definitely be back. Will miss those sunsets!

My family spent 10 days at this immaculate spot, perfect for families or mid sized mature groups. We really enjoyed the semi private beach front access and close proximity to Tamarindo (accessible via walking the beach or down the street).The unit itself was exceptionally clean, equipped with modern amenities and a fully equipped kitchen and misc supplies.The hosts were wonderful to deal with, excellent communication and very gracious and helpful when planning our vacation. The information booklet was very helpful ranging from recommending restaurants, health care options (which we needed) to planning our day trips. I rate this location a solid 10/10 and hope to return again some day.Dad - travelling with 4 young girls aged 23 to 15.

The condo is beautiful and so big! Way better than we expected. The balcony views are amazing. We enjoyed that everything we could possibly need was provided including everything for the beach. The bedrooms/bathrooms are all spacious and beds are so comfortable! We would highly recommend staying here!!

Darryl, We spend several months per year at our condo and it is important to have a place to stay that is comfortable, relaxing and also provides many of the amenities you find at home. Amazing condo!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Condo had everything we needed in a home away from home. Loved the location. Short beach walk to Tamarindo.

Great stay, fabulous property!

Our expectations were exceeded at this property, you can really tell the owners made it their priority to make sure you’ll have everything you could possibly wish for. Stunning views, excellent allround equipment and great location!

We cannot recommend it more highly it’s a wonderful place to stay and would recommend it to anyone

Great Views and Location

Place was just as it appeared online. Everyone working and staying were super friendly. Highly recommend.

Andrew, Thanks for adding your comments. The Crystal Sands staff and staff at RPM are very personable and helpful. And the views from the balcony overlooking the Pacific are spectacular - morning and evening. Those sunsets can't be beaten anywhere. Hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to Costa Rica.

We love the quiet beauty of Tamarindo, the easy beach walks into town and sitting on the balcony overlooking the Pacific. It is the ultimate in relaxation. Sitting on the deck in the evening watching the sun set over the Pacific with a glass of wine in hand is to be savored.

The condo is on the beach and if you like to walk there are miles of unspoiled beaches to meander along, watch the surfers, try it your self or gather sea shells. Great restaurants at reasonable prices are close by.
