Our Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was fine with the exception of lawn care, the grass had not mowed in a week or so. The cause insects and mosquitos to be everywhere.

Comal river retreat

We love staying at this location. The property is beautiful and the best part is the river access steps away. Always a clean pleasant experience with no problems ever!

The place not worth for what you pay for

The place it s old, and have to much rules, even cleaning police they charge you for cleaning fee but expect you to clean everything for them. It s just not the worth to pay this kind of money for this place

Awesome Girls Trip

This is our second visit to this unit! We love the location! The cleanliness - the view- the beginning right in the Comal! These 65 yr old “girls” love our New Braunfels float trips!!

Fantastic location for immediate access to river

The place was perfectly located in the heart of the Comal tubing area. Clean. Beds comfortable. Not super large but comfortable for our group of 6.

Great Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean. It did lack a large frying pan to cook breakfast. When I called the office, they sent someone out to us within an hour with a brand new frying pan. We were thankful. When we first got there, we could not get the TV to work. We finally figured it out. Before that, I called the office and maintenance. Both were responsive. The one thing about this particular unit that was very frustrating was the noise the icemaker made. At times it made a VERY LOUD KNOCKING noise. At night it was particularly frustrating since I slept on the couch several nights because I snore. I guess you could say it prevented me from snoring ... lol. I told the office, but no one ever came by to check it out. They did say it is a new refrigerator. But it definitely needs to be checked. Also, the knob on the front bedroom door is about to fall off. It needs more seating in the living area. We were 4 adults and 1 child, and one couch and one comfy chair wasn't enough. I didn't enjoy having to sit in a table chair to watch TV. Other than that our stay was great! I would definitely return.

The place was spotless. The location was great. Bring extra towels if staying more than a few days. The bed wasn’t very good, but who comes for the bed. Furniture in the rest of the house was fine. Enjoyed who stay again.

Looks Great But..

The grounds, location where perfect. The unit looked very clean and nice. However, there was not one comfortable chair to sit on. The couch was lumpy and uncomfortable. When folded out to sleep on the foot part of mattress drops down as if it not long enough. The beds are hard as a rock. Not all pillows have pillow cases for the beds. The washer/dryer is the smallest I have ever seen. For a family of 6 it only washed 1/2 of our days wet clothes at a time.
