No Neighbors !!!!!!!
Yet only 1.3 miles to the center of Naples.
With plenty of restaurants
Our clean and cozy camp is surrounded by acres of woodlands, providing a great area for the perfect serene vacation.
Rebuilt within the past ten years, this camp has shared the same foot print since first built in the '50s. Nestled on a small cove in the most northern part of the spring fed Trickey pond. Close enough to the ponds only outlet, where you can sit back at night and listen to the rushing water.
Only a short distance from many hiking trails.
Crystal clear, spring fed water that is great for paddle boating and kyaking.
A great winter get away with multiple ski trails within miles.
Enjoy a romantic getaway in the beautiful town of Naples with close amenities like restaurants, river tours, mini golf, and more.
I am a simple carpenter with a life long dream to build a cabin in the woods.
I was lucky enough to find this slice of paradise on Trickey pond,
Then built a small and cozy camp with direct beach frontage to the cleanest pond in southern maine.
Dave Cederquist purchased this cabin in 2005

I'm reviewing this property a little late because of a busy holiday season but I have to say, it was the most wonderful way to kick off the holidays by spending three nights in this lakeside paradise for Thanksgiving! My boyfriend and I drove into Naples, ME on Thanksgiving day just as the snow started to fall on the evergreen trees surrounding the cabin. The cabin itself is close to the main road, but completely private because how it is positioned downhill from the road and surrounded by trees. You wouldn't even know there was anyone around! However, the town is just a couple of minutes away by car and I can see how during the summer season this location is perfect to be able to do all the fun stuff in town while having a private home base. On a practical side, the cabin has everything you might need for a stay: a full kitchen with some dishes, utensils and cookware; a comfortable bathroom with a standup shower; a couch, a futon, and a queen mattress (in the loft) for lots of lounging options. (FYI: If internet and TV are important to you, you might have some service problems, but worry not--the house is stocked with tons of DVDs!) We particularly enjoyed how well heated and cozy the cabin was during our little snowy getaway and how beautiful the views of the lake are. The cabin also comes equipped with kayaks, a pedal boat, and hammock, which would be so fantastic during the summer. There is also a private dock and the area looks perfect for swimming. Dave has thought of everything, including even setting up the fire pit for us prior to our arrival! This cabin has it all and is so cute that we can't wait to come back this summer and take advantage of all the warm weather activities. We found it to be perfect for a getaway for two, but can see how it could easily accommodate a family with kids or two couples who don't mind sharing an open space. Thanks so much for a truly memorable stay! We can't wait to come back!
I had a great stay at the Cabin. Dave was very responsive and the property was amazing. The cabin was clean and modern, cozy and efficient! Gas grill outside and fire pit were a huge plus! The location is great. It's one of the only visible propertys on the lake, but is close to town so getting groceries and such is easy! Highly recommend the place for two people or a small, close-knit group!
Tricky pond is a dream getaway, that I look forward to go every year. The best part is the breath taking view! We used the paddle boat to go to the island and had so much fun! Tricky pond cabin is clean, beautiful and the best weekend getaway I can think of! Can't wait to go back! Thanks Dave and Lynne we had the best time!!!! :-)
Awesome location! Great cabin! Clean, well kept, nice amenities! All cups, dishes, pots, and utensils included. There was a boat, paddle boat, kayaks, fishing polls, and grills waiting to be used! We were 30 minutes away from Portland, 3 hours away from bar harbor. It was to die for!! We will definitely be back! I love it there! Thanks again Dave!! 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!
My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend here. The property is very clean and comfortable with everything you need to just come and enjoy from the paddle boat and row boat, , floats for swimming, kayaks, the grill, the hammock, they really have provided for so much. We will return again at some point and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing lakeside retreat in Maine.
My husband and I had the pleasure of renting this cabin on the north end of Trickey Pond over Labor day weekend. We found the property to be extremely well maintained and everything was accurately described in the owner's listing. The cabin is the perfect size for two and the expanse of windows on the water side of the cabin affords you a constant view of life on the pond. I was struck by the fact that, despite there being a number of homes as well as a campground surrounding this pond, we always felt as though we were the only ones on the pond. There are no other homes visible from your vantage point at the cabin. A rare find these days! The kayaks the owner provides are a wonderful way to explore the pond and because the cabin sits in a no wake zone, due to nesting loons nearby, power boats rarely enter the north end of the pond. There are many amenities to enjoy a relaxing day at water's edge: boats,a hammock, a dock, 2 grills, a fire pit and several chairs. The exterior of the cabin can be well lit at night, if you wish, to venture out for a nighttime kayak adventure or simply enjoy a campfire and the sounds of the loons calling. Dave, the owner - contact, provides excellent customer service and promptly answers any and all questions you may have. It is obvious he is quite proud of his property and we are lucky that he shares it with guests. This is a lovely area of Maine to visit and and it provided us a restful and relaxing weekend. If you enjoy nature and lakeside living you won't be disappointed in your stay here!
