Long Lake - Gorgeous Sandy Beach

Welcome to Naples Maine, located 35 miles west of Portland. The home is located on long lake with 100+ of gorgeous sandy beach. Not only is it sandy, the beach has gradual entry excellent for young kids, and a dock which is perfect for your boat. No boat? Not a problem, you are able to rent a boat right next-door to Long Lake Marina. If you enjoy water sports, then you are in an excellent location. Within walking distance, you can rent Jet Ski’s paddle boats, or take a seaplane ride.

If you prefer to sit back and relax, take a scenic ride on the Songo River Queen a 90 footlong paddle wheel boat that will take you for a beautiful sunset cruise on Long Lake. Oh, did I forget to mention that there is over 40 miles of waterfront that takes you through the locks all the way to Sebago Lake.

Not into water sports? You have a really beautiful long lawn perfect for outdoor activities and lakefront dining. Relax on the call of the loons. With a short walk distance is the Naples library, shops, restaurants, and a long causeway perfect for walks or bike rides. For the golfer there are two nearby golf courses, Point Sebago and Bridgeton country club.

The home was built in the 1880s and has been totally renovated with beautiful wood floors, high ceilings,3 bathrooms,5 bedrooms and kitchen. We have cable and WIFI. We would be delighted to send additional pictures.

We had a wonderful stay in this home, nice sandy beach, dock for renting a boat during the stay, and although right next door to a marina, very private. It is walkable to the Naples Causeway and restaurants which was really nice. Hope to stay there again!

Great house - right in town

If you want to be right in Naples, this house is perfect. Its got a great beach, its right next to the marina and you can walk to shops, coffee, restaurants, and ice cream is right next door.

Best VRBO in Naples!

Great Location - Great Host

House was great. Clean, organized and perfect for our weekend away. Large hanging out/entertaining space and plenty of room for people to have privacy sleeping. Host was great and Barry was even quick to give us fishing recommendations.

Great Spot

Clean and newly renovated large house in a great location. It's close to restaurants and next to a marina for boat rentals. Barry (owner) is very accomodating and responsive. Great experience overall.

From beginning to end this vacation exceeded expectations. The owners were so pleasant, the house was amazing, spacious, & clean. So wonderful being close to everything and still able to have privacy in the huge backyard and awesome beach area! Wished we could have stayed longer!

Perfection

Truly a spectacular place to stay. So much space, all of it comfortable, and the outdoor spaces are just bananas. We were here for the fourth and the barge for the town fireworks was literally 200 yards in front of the dock. Amazing spot for a big family gathering!

Nice, large lakefront home

A lot of space, bedrooms and baths. Well equipped kitchen. Nice lawn and waterfront with a clean lake good for swimming, although it is at the busy end of the lake. Convenient, right in Naples village. Great for a large group / family get-together.

Excellent vacation spot!

Our entire vacation experience was perfect. The owner checked in on us upon arrival to be sure our needs were met and that everything was satisfactory. Later in the week there was an issue with a broken lock in an exterior door which the owners had repaired within an hour of us reporting it. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation. I also thank Maria and Barry for providing a wonderful vacation spot!

Family vacation

The sandy beach area was a huge hit with the kids. The location is awesome. The owner was very responsive but we were surprised there were no instructions left in the house. The house itself was great for our large group but could have been cleaned better and some beds did not have sheets.

Something for everyone

We had a fantastic stay. The house is big enough to gather or get away. The renovations have been completed within a few years and the house and furniture are in great condition.The beach, the dock and wharf are a hit. Rent a boat next door and park it in the backyard. There were washers and dryers on each floor and two gas grills. Flies in the porch area entering the house were pesky. The bathrooms could use hooks to hang wet towels.The host was very responsive.

Lake House 2025

We love the house. Stayed last year too. Only problem was that the house was not ready at 4. The cleaners were there until after 5. Very glad that we checked into the kitchen area and unloaded our groceries at 4. We were able to point out some issues with the fridges and freezers that needed attention. Had a great week and are booked again next summer. Can't wait!

Fantastic Week!

We are an Ancestry.com recently assembled family. This house was perfect in every way for our group. The main floor could easily seat 24 for indoor dining. The kitchen had every possible utensil you could wish for and the selection of pots and pans was terrific. Loved the waterfront. Two of our family members arrived by boat. Most lived in the local area so the location was ideal. We had such a great time that we already booked for the same week next year. One caveat: there is a step up between the kitchen and dining room that caught me several times. I put a chair in front of it for an additional visual cue and had no problems after that.
