Relaxing Lake View maison dans les montagnes de San Diego (Cuyamaca / Julian)

Belle maison entièrement approvisionnée avec une vue imprenable sur le lac Cuyamaca, près de la ville minière historique de Julian. La maison dispose de deux lits queen et 4 lits jumeaux. Une grande cuisine et salle à manger est idéal pour la cuisson et rassembler avec accès direct à la plate-forme de séquoia qui étend la longueur avant de la maison, idéal pour profiter de la vue imprenable. Tant la chambre principale et le grenier ont vue sur le lac. Une cheminée peut être trouvé dans la chambre de la famille, avec un téléviseur HD, un lecteur DVD, et un système audio surround avec dock iPod. Bien que nous ayons la TVHD en direct, nous n’avons pas de service de câble / antenne parabolique ou d’Internet. Mais vous avez à peine besoin, parce que dans le sous-sol, vous trouverez la salle de jeux, où tout le monde veut passer leur piscine de tir de temps, jouer au hockey sur air, baby-foot, un système de jeu Super Nintendo vintage, ou la plupart des jeux de table. Les jeunes enfants vont adorer la mise en place géants rames de Brio ou en utilisant leur imagination comme ils construisent des mondes imaginaires avec les seaux de jouets mis à leur disposition.

Une laveuse et une sécheuse sont également situés dans le sous-sol.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tous les ustensiles et les appareils standards. Les draps sont également fournis pour votre usage.

Nous avons climatisation centrale et le chauffage, mais tous les moments de l'année offrons quelque chose d'unique. Automne et l'hiver sont les plus populaires pour les habitants de San Diego locaux pour visiter les montagnes à cause des couleurs de l'automne et Apple Jours, à Julian, et la neige et le froid qui peuvent venir avec l'hiver. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin home. The perfect place to stay if you’re looking to stay near Lake Cuyamaca. The home is spacious and perfectly setup for a family of 6 to spread and feel comfortable. We found the home clean and well maintained. The home has clearly been meticulously decorated, staying true to a rustic cabin feel yet still offering all the amenities of a modern home. During our stay we saw flocks of wild geese and deer in the meadows and endless stars at night. Would definitely come back!

What an absolutely perfect place to stay. My wife and I needed a quick getaway from the city and found this gem. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking onsite. Lots of privacy from the other nearby houses. Incredible views of Lake Cuyamaca and the surrounding mountains and hillsides. Pitch black nights with amazing views of the night sky and Milky Way galaxy. The cabin (I hate calling it a cabin as it's really a beautiful home) is fully equipped and furnished with everything you could want or need. Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances (including a trash compactor!), dishes, silverware, utensils, etc. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and perfect for a family with kids. The game room was a lot of fun even for us adults. The weather was quite warm when we went but the central air kept the entire house very comfortable and ceiling fans throughout were great. The decor is so well done - really gives a warm, homey, cabin feel but you have all the creature comforts you could ever want including wifi, streaming devices, surround sound system (entire house), etc. Two full bathrooms with a fantastic walk-in shower in the master were both excellent. The views of the lake though from the outside deck, dining room, living room, both main bedrooms - plus all the other amenities will keep us coming back again when we're looking for a staycation. Lastly, the hosts were very friendly and helpful with their timely communications and were a joy to do business with.

Everything was clean and the location was great. The view from the main room was unreal, with the lake and mountains right there. It was a little different having to put our own sheets on the beds, but I understand their reasoning. It ensures that the sheets are clean because they were folded up on the bed and you put them on yourself. The game room was great! My kids spent hours down there whenever we were not out exploring. The owners left detailed notes/signs and explanations throughout the house, so It was easy to know what to do and what not to do, or why something was a certain way. It was a great experience, and we hope to come stay there again in the future.

Great spot to relax

We’ve stayed here multiple times and always have a great time. It’s clean, comfortable and has lots to do for all ages. If you are looking for a spot to get away near Julian, we’d highly recommend the hideaway.

Great getaway near Julian

Loved the house, nice and clean with lots of amenities. Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed walking near the lake. The kids loved the game room!

Family of 7, grandparents celebrating Valentines and Birthday. Lori was great, answered each and every questions with grace and thoroughness. House is very well stocked with everything needed for a great time. Playroom downstairs has adult and kiddos toys. Kitchen also, even necessities - sugar, coffee, hot choc, S&P. Just bring clothing and food; everything is too hand. I did bring my kettle and teabags as I cannot survive without! View is marvelous. We will definitely return.

Great location. Amazing view. Loved the game room.

Game room had a pool table, foosball table, and an air hockey table. There were video games and toys. There was always something for the kiddos to do.

Amazing time!

This place is AMAZING! This is our second year renting this get away and my family love’s it here. The game room is what my kids love the most ,they have everything you need. The owner were very responsive and gave us a lot of good tips since it was snowing. Till next year Hansen property!

Spectacular lake retreat

We celebrated my 60th birthday at this lovely and spacious home with a gorgeous view of Lake Cuyamaca. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and hiking on the many nearby trails. Instructions were ample and easy to follow. I hope to return in the future.

Great Place to Get Away

We loved staying at this home. Wonderful lake view, and well equipped home. Kitchen has plenty of what is needed and we had more than enough towels for five us. The downstairs game room was a lot of fun. The trip to Julian is short and having the trails walkable distance away was perfect! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Hello! We are Lori and Jeremy Hansen. We live about an hour away from this property with our three children who range in age from 16 through 22. When we're not busy with kids or work, we enjoy visiting the cabin for some peace and quiet and to just 'unplug' if only for a couple of days.

This property has been in Jeremy's family for almost 50 years - since the early 1970s. It's been witness to several generations of Hansen kids' visits, engagements, and honeymoons. It is a very special place to all of us.

We started renting it as a weekend vacation destination in the mid-90s but lost the original structure in the Cedar Fire of 2003 that ravaged Southern California and much of the Cuyamaca hillside.

By 2007, construction of the new and improved cabin was complete. We took some more time to furnish and decorate it just right. Once we felt it was ready to share, we resumed renting it. We are experienced hosts and we are excited to share our property with you!

Located above Lake Cuyamaca, the property offers a breath-taking view of the lake and Fletcher Island. The lake is within walking distance, where you can rent a row boat, motor boat, pedal boat; go fishing; enjoy lunch or dinner at the lake's restaurant; picnic; not to mention take one of the myriad of hiking trails and enjoy nature!

Nearby are the Laguna Mountains where, in late winter, snow is often blanketing the ground and providing you with opportunities to sled and build snowmen. The cabin sits at an elevation of 4,600ft which is often high enough for snow, as well. We have an excellent driveway for sledding, and even have sleds and snow toys available for your use!

Also nearby is the historic gold mining town of Julian where you will find more restaurants, apple pie, shopping, apple pie, local winery tasting rooms, apple pie, gold mine tours, and did I mention Julian's famous apple pies?!

We have open views and a meadow to the east, so you can experience wildlife without ever leaving the cabin. Keep an eye out for deer, wild turkey, and all varieties of birds - finch, hawk, bluejay, vulture, woodpecker, and more! In winter, the long, sloping driveway is great for sledding, and we always get more snow than Julian. Dusk or night hiking during summer, or seeing a billion stars in the sky (and the milky way) when the sun goes down are things you never forget. Even when the weather is harsh and stormy, opening up the big picture windows and seeing nature's fury coming through the mountain pass can be quite spectacular while sitting under a blanket with a fire roaring in the fireplace!
