Welcome to Sundance! Located on 54 acres along the historic Shenandoah River, Sundance offers you a place to return to the simpler times in life.
Amenities include:

(The riverfront is solely for the use of our guests at Sundance and Walden, {VRBO#457061} Although Sundance and Walden share the riverfront, the two cabins are completely private from one anther.)

My husband and I loved this cabin! The view is amazing! We did a lot of hiking and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. Check in was simple. The cabin was very clean. Highly recommend for a couples getaway.

We had a great stay at Sundance cabin ! Clean and had alot of nessessities provided . Hot tub was very nice and clean . Can't wait to return and maybe stay in the Walden cabin .

Absolutely outstanding rental experience, you can tell the hosts love providing great hospitality and have thoughtfully set up the home for a memorable stay. Cabin is well stocked, spotless, has everything you need. The views are incredible and the property is serene, private, and gorgeous. The area down by the river is a hidden gem! Appreciate the great communication and homemade cookies upon arrival. We’re already thinking about when we can come back. Thank you!

The home is perfect. It was clean and not fussy. We had 2 adults and 2 kids along with our 2 dogs. The space was plenty, but if you are looking for loads of inside space this may not be for you. For us it was perfect. The views are incredible, and the walk down to the river is pure magic, steep, but magic. The location is great for quiet and rest, but you are close to all that makes the area special. We spent our days in the NP and loved all the hikes. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

House is very clean with amazing views! Kitchen stocked with everything you need. Water access is private with only a couple of shared cabins. Enjoyed fishing, canoeing and relaxing over three days. This was our second stay here and we look forward to coming back!Dan

Woodside Cabins is family owned and operated. Olga and I have been in the vacation cabin business for 20 years and take great pride in our properties. I grew up in the area and we both have a deep love and appreciation for the Blue Ridge Mountains and our beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

Why they chose this property

Designed and built in 2011 by Woodside Cabins, Sundance has been customized to benefit from its location by incorporating as much of the view into its setting as possible. With the outdoors in mind it has as much living space inside as outside. When you visit you will agree with Thoreau when he wrote,
“It is the marriage of the soul with Nature that makes the intellect fruitful, and gives birth to imagination.”.

What makes this property unique

The view from Sundance cannot be beat. Whether you are soaking in the hot tub, making a meal in the kitchen or waking up in the bedroom, the view is always there for you. In addition, the walk to the river takes you along a path through the fields where the mountains and the natural world surround you. You have to walk slowly to take it all in.
