Welcome to the newly renovated Mountain Dream, Cabin 2! Tucked a little over 1 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Bear Den Spacious Skies community. This cabin is close to all your mountain dreams! Waterfalls, gorgeous trails, scenic views, cruising along the Blue Ridge Parkway, approximately 1 hr from 3 major ski resorts (Sugar, Beech and Hatley Pointe) and 45 minutes to Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing... or just enjoy cabin living, sitting by the fire, enjoying the private hot tub and views from our deck. The neighborhood hosts over 13 miles of hiking with their own waterfall or neighboring campground amenities you can check out (small lake for swimming or fishing). Enjoy the new kitchen, new appliances, new furniture. This modern cabin in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains offers cozy, stylish, comfortable living. It's the same Mountain Dream cabin, just waiting for new memories and adventures to be had. *Must be 25 to book or special permission granted

A lovely place to spend the last week of summer vacation. It’s tucked away and so quiet and peaceful. The cabin was super clean, very comfy and had everything we needed. When we had questions, the host was immediately responsive. We are looking forward to staying here again!

This was a very unique and comfortable property. The arrival condition was superb, and all the advertised amenities were spot on. We particularly appreciated the pre-arrival communications and thorough property instructions, and had no questions as to how to operate the appliances and features. Everything was in perfect order and we felt that much thought was given to ensuring that our stay would be both hassle free and safe. Our only suggestion would be for the owners to consider installing a ceiling fan on the upper level to help circulate the warm air that naturally rises and causes the loft area to become so much warmer than the ground floor during the heating season. That would be a tremendous addition to the overall comfort during the Winter months. This Mountain Cabin was a joy to rent, and our stay will long be remembered as a highlight of our North Carolina Holiday vacation!

Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue for me. Thank you for a great property on extremely short notice.

This property has the best of all worlds. Just 1 mile from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 minutes to the closest grocery store, walking distance to 13 miles of community hiking trails, close to a lake you can swim or fish in, and jump the stream on the Cascade Waterfall Trail. Want to explore further away - we are centrally located between Asheville and Blowing Rock, NC to be the perfect base camp for day trip adventures. After a full day of exploring, come back to relax and unwind with a gorgeous sunset while soaking in the private hot tub. Life is good when living the Mountain Dream.
