About this property
Bunkhouse in the E Tennessee Mountains, off grid-sleeps 8 with bath/shower house
Part of the Buckridge Mountain Resort, this bunkhouse sleeps 8. Built in bunk beds in living area with wood burning fire place, private bedroom with Queen bed and electric heater, tv room with flat screen and electric fireplace with smart t.v and wifi. Just like in Yellowstone, this place is perfect for a large family or traveling groups looking to bunk for a night or stay awhile. Walk the path to the shower house with hot water and separate men/womens showers and toilets. Want off grid, outa the way? No traffic, no noise just peace and quiet. Build a fire in the outdoor fire pit, sit on the front porch, take a hike up the trails on the mountain. Perfect place to bring your side by sides, motorcycles, kids, pets or if you are looking for a more intimate place theres private cabins on the resort grounds as well. All brand new, each bunk has usb charging plugs and shelf and lantern. All linens provided. Nice kitchen with cook top, fridge and sink. Outdoor features large fire pit, horseshoes, corn hole and on the ol bus porch there is a hook game, chairs and tables and a common area for everyone to enjoy. This is for the outdoorsy type. This is in the mountains and not for the "bougie" type. If you like camping on an upscale version...this is for you. If you like 5* resorts with turn down service and fancy bathrooms this is not for you! Sit on the porch and watch the baby goats play. We own the entire mountain so feel free to wander around. Hike a trail up to the top. Lots of wildlife if you just watch and listen. The stars are unbelievable so make sure you look up!

Beautiful location and super cute cabin. Bath house is about 100 ft from the cabin so be prepared to walk to it in the night if necessary, but the trail to it is well lit and flashlights were provided. The cabin is great and our kids thought the bunks were really fun. Waking up to have coffee with the birds chirping in the morning was lovely.
Adorable house in a lovely area. It was the perfect girls trip location. Our only complaint were the toilets. The lights did not work and they had not been cleaned prior to arrival.
It is a very nice cabin, I will say we won’t be staying again though with an our children because of the bathrooms and showers being so far away from the cabin. It was very difficult with four children and using the bathroom. Definitely needs a bathroom and shower in the cabin.

Sorry you maybe didn't read the description. It's about a 2 minute walk. It clearly states this in the description of the property. It will never have a shower or bathroom inside. It's the uniqueness that makes it desirable to most travelers.

poop in a 9" bucket
If you like to poop in a 9" bucket that does not get emptied for 3 days until the maggots crawl onto to private parts, then you might like this place.
If you like construction noise during your stay, this might be great for you.
It would have been better if we arrived during the day. Location was a little spotty at night but the owner was awaiting our arrival just in case which was nice. The water froze over night but we were only there a night. We loved the outside and would visit again for a weekend. The cabin was beautiful and the fire pit was Hugh. We didn’t have time to explore and we do regret that.
