Welcome to Mamaw’s House—a charming 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath farmhouse where rustic comfort meets timeless simplicity. Nestled on peaceful acreage just 4 miles from public access to beautiful Watauga Lake, this cozy retreat invites you to slow down and savor the beauty of Butler, TN.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, private half bath, and ample space to spread out and make yourself right at home. The downstairs bedroom offers a charming queen-size bed, while the living room includes a pull-out couch that converts into another queen-size bed—perfect for extra guests. Each bedroom and the living room are equipped with TVs featuring Amazon Fire TV for your entertainment.

This is the cutest hidden gem in Butler. We came for a visit with family and enjoyed the house immensely afterward. Picture perfect peaceful getaway! We will be booking again!!

Was an absolute pleasure staying here, very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. House had a very country charm to it with modern accents. Hosts were very sweet and helpful. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone. Will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Wonderfully charming modern farmhouse! The property was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The home is nestled in a valley with a gorgeous view. One morning, we woke up to the sound of what I’m pretty sure was a cow mooing, it definitely added to the charm. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks on the nearby lake. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just a note, there’s no cell service in the area, needed to drive about 4 miles before we got service, but the Wi-Fi and streaming was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

We enjoyed everything about the whole experience of this rental. The host was very helpful and easy to reach out to. The property was absolutely beautiful and situated in the perfect spot with amazing views. We got to see a group of turkeys out of our windows wandering around the property! It was very nice and secluded. The house was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. 10 out of 10 would stay here again and recommend to everyone that visits the area!

The house is pristine; everything is brand new and in beautiful condition. The bedding is luxurious with super soft linen comforter, plenty of pillows and high quality sheets. The host responded quickly when the electronic keypad didn’t work at first and she immediately solved the entry problem. The layout is superb with the laundry off the main bathroom downstairs. Appliances are upgraded. The only concern is no window treatment in the three master bedroom windows that look out onto the street. The checkout instructions were easy to follow and we would definitely stay there again.

This is the most beautiful, peaceful place we’ve ever stayed! It was so welcoming and cozy. They thought of everything you’d need to feel right at home. We will definitely be staying here again.
