The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is a 2.5-mile pedestrian walkway with a rich history dating back to the 1920s. Originally envisioned by Hollywood’s founder, Joseph Young, it was a key part of his plan to create a top resort destination in South Florida. What began as a wooden boardwalk was later transformed into the iconic pink cement path we see today, inspired by Atlantic City’s famous boardwalk.
Now, the Broadwalk offers a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with something for everyone. With no cars allowed between the beach and the many shops and restaurants, it’s a safe and welcoming space for visitors of all ages.
Directly across the main road, you’ll also find a variety of upscale dining options along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway.
Getting around is easy thanks to the Hollywood Circuit—an eight-passenger golf cart shuttle service that functions like Uber. Just download the app and catch a ride for just a few dollars.
