The area is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the rustic cabin for exactly what is was, rustic. It met our needs and really enjoyed the peaceful deck.

Great views, wonderful little town, hiking right off the property. It fit our group of 8 guys perfectly. I would highly recommend.

The cabin is in a wonderful location and has incredibly beautiful views of the mountains and lakes. Everything was very warm and inviting--and the cabin has been updated nicely with all modern conveniences, so our group fit together well. We spent a lot of time relaxing, enjoying, and making some great memories! Highly recommend.

This is a lovely cabin in an incredibly beautiful and convenient location. Just outside of Twin Lakes, but feels very remote. The cabin is comfortable for a large group and has fantastic details, such as a little playroom perfect for young kids. Our family’s two-year-old loved it! The outdoors space offers a nice deck, a little platform with a slide among the trees, a swing, and beautiful views from everywhere! The only downside is that there are only two bathrooms. But not a huge drawback!!!

What a view!! To wake up every morning to that view was a real treat. We took full advantage of the wrap-around deck The cabin was comfortable for our family of 7. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The chairs and couches were also comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the cupola at the top of the house…..as well as climbing the giant hill behind the house. We loved the large table for family meals and playing games in the evening. The wood stove in the evening was also a real treat. Did I mention the view?? We would definitely return! Thank you for sharing your home.

The house location is great. The host communication was impeccable. The house came with some many unexpected items in the pantry and in the kitchen in general. There were stuff in the fridge, spices in drawers etc. My daughter and their husband who have all rented places said it was by far the best stocked place, including DVDs for kids and adults. The house was as also well cleaned and prepped when we arrived. It is also well insulated so that we didn’t really have to turn on heat in bedrooms this late in October. We made fire in the beautiful fireplace a couple of times for two hours and that was basically enough. My family and I can highly recommend the house and its owners and management.

A rainy weekend but perfect for our crew to hangout, play board games, and pamper the grandkids! The cabin is a wonderful, quiet escape with plenty of warmth and character.

Best trip!

The house and its location is absolutely stunning. Our family had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the views. We had a very easy check in and check out process and our hosts were very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!

We loved this beautiful cabin! It had plenty of space and was well stocked with all the little things you don’t think about until you need them: salt, pepper, all the cooking utensils, etc. The front porch is a great spot to sit and enjoy your coffee with a view each morning. It’s a short walk into Twin Lakes but still feels like you’re far away from civilization. Our kids enjoyed the views from the birds nest - such a cool feature! We definitely hope to come back in the future.

Perfect mountain home with epic views!

We loved our stay here! Everything was as described or better and the hosts were extremely helpful. 4 nights went by way too quick but we’d definitely return again. The little community of Twin Lakes was the exact, non-ski resort pace we were seeking. This was the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO I’ve rented and there’s an awesome puzzle selection. Perfectly located to access great hikes from Independence Pass, rafting in Buena Vista, walk to the the lakes or just roam around the property.

Heavenly views!

The views from the deck are incredible - you can see the lake and Mt Elbert. You can walk from the house across the main road to the lake waking path entrance in just a few minutes. The house is very private - you aren’t that far from town (you can see it from the driveway) but there are no immediate neighboring houses from the main views so it feels very private. By far my favorite experience was taking the short 15-20 min drive to Independence Pass. Truly most beautiful place on earth. We had two families with kids staying for a long weekend and the huge kitchen table was great for our spaghetti night and playing games with the kids. Plenty of beds and rooms so with 8 people we were very comfortable. I’d definitely come back with more family or friends.

We had some concerns about the wildfires currently nearby and the hosts were extremely communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Our experience was wonderful!

Great place with incredible views

We had 8 adults stay very comfortably at this very large cabin. The bedrooms are all large and the kitchen/living room was plenty large for our entire group to spend time together. The views from the deck (and pretty much every window) are the reason we went to Colorado. Brian was very easy to communicate with and I will try to book this cabin again if we return to the area

Great spot!

Morning coffees in a beautiful log cabin surrounded by stunning artwork and mountains, doesn’t get any better! We historically stay in downtown Leadville for close access to Cooper, but we decided to try something new. So glad we did! Hope to be back to enjoy the wrap around deck.

Great Cabin!

The cabin was very comfortable, even for 6 guys on a fishing trip. The kitchen was better supplied than my home kitchen is. The rest of the house was well supplied and perfect. We had no trouble finding the place and the driveway was easy, even with some snow pack. We all slept comfortably too. I would love to stay here again!
