Thank you Julie for your feedback. As we strive to improve our service, please note that the faulty lockbox has been replaced and we are hoping that the check in process will be smoother in the future. All instructions and everything you needed to know about the property is found on the 3 pages document sent after booking. Also response time to the message sent through the app was approximately 3 minutes. As per instructions given in the document, if additional help was needed during check in, virtual help is available by "pushing" the button on the video doorbell camera so owners will get notified otherwise, we will not know help is needed. We do not constantly watch our guests for we respect our guests privacy. Camera is for security purposes only. There are 2 queen beds in the master bedroom making this 3 bedroom house have 4 beds. This information is found in the listing description which you can read prior to booking. All beds and bed frames are queens- not full on queen frames. My cleaning lady do clean the house pretty well including the outside furnitures every after guests, however, we do not have any control over nature. It will get dusty and leaves will fall on the back patio even after minutes of cleaning it. It will get dirty when we do not have guests for days in between. We do provide a broom, leaf blower and vacuum for guests use. We do have a fenced in backyard and I believe there is enough space in both back and front yard to play if desired, my kids and their friends do everytime we are using our property. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over what our new neighbors do in their PRIVATE property; but our neighbors in this community are friendly and safe. This particular neighbor do not have grass because they recently redid their septic and they also cut a number or trees to add space to their yard. We do understand and I think that’s the reason why our back porch is always dusty. We are planning to put high privacy fence in the future. That is already in our to do list for constant improvement. For the meantime, we hanged an outdoor privacy bamboo blinds on that side of the porch. Guests will have the option to either keep it down or put it up. Hopefully that will solve the problem. There are a lot of things to do in this neighborhood. There are 2 private beaches and a lake which are about 3-5 minutes drive from the house. We do provide passes for free access. Swimming, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, sunbathing are just examples for activities within the community though you need to provide your own water toys. There is a basketball court in the park and volleyball net by the lake too. We are 8 minutes away from Calvert State Park and 15 minutes away from Solomons Islands where you can explore. Most of these information are found in the document sent during booking. I also recommend things if suggestions are requested by guests depending on what they are interested in doing. Taking a good 20-30 walk around the neighborhood is also a good outdoor activity. We recently added a firepit in the front yard. Feel free to provide your own wood, build fire and enjoy hotdogs, corn and smores. You will have an awesome vacation if you decide to go outdoors or stay in the house and watch movies with the 85” TV in the living room. Or simply listen to music and use the fireplace bluetooth speaker.
