The villa is located within the renowned 300-acre Finca Los Sueños Community Biological Natural Reserve, Dolce Far Niente enjoys a privileged setting between the blue waters of the Pacific and the lush Rosario River basin in one of the most beautiful areas of Guanacaste and right in the middle in one of the five Blue Zones on this planet.

Three sumptuous private en-suite bedrooms, each an opulent retreat, await you with plush king pillow-top beds adorned with super-soft bedding for a restful night's sleep. Each bedroom has its own 50-inch TV with thousands of free streaming movies and shows, allowing you to watch local channels in your city and language, complemented by free Starlink high-speed internet for the entire home. All rooms have independent air conditioning, adjustable ceiling fans. lighting, wardrobes, robes, benches, luggage racks, charging ports, side tables and blackout roller shades with multiple private entrances, including private bathrooms with ceiling fans. The home encompasses 3,675 square feet of living space with Italian tile, floor-to-ceiling glass, and gorgeous stone finishes. The spacious shared spaces are filled with light in an open concept layout where everyone can be together and are framed by 3 large bedrooms/bathrooms. All of this space allows everyone to achieve their unique balance of togetherness and privacy. Located discreetly atop its own hillside, Dolce Far Niente promises total seclusion: a true haven of tranquility.

At the entrance of the Villa, an overhead car port can accomadate to 2 cars easily and plenty of parking for an additional 2 cars.

Step onto the expansive shaded deck, where the melodic crashing of waves and rustling palm fronds usher you into paradise. Marvel as howler monkeys dine amid flowering trees, serenaded by vibrant flocks of exotic birds painting the sky with their graceful dances – a spellbinding immersion in nature's grandeur. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and dragonflies service the lush poolside garden surrounding the spectacular 40-foot-long lap pool with infinity edge overlooking the expansive ocean view.

A Luxurious Jungle Sanctuary:
The helpful property manager who lives only 10 min away is easily accessible through WhatsApp to help with any questions, reservations, and helpful hints and to ensure the most enjoyable time at the Villa. The service you get here is comparable to a high-end concierge service at a 5-star hotel. If you prefer, a private chef, musician or a DJ can be arranged for your enjoyment. We help you to make reservations for all restaurants and bars, activities and tours you might like to book and will provide a lot of helpful hints and recommendations to make your stay unforgettable.

Four of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica; San Juanillo, Ostional, Marbella and Azul can be reached in 10 to 15 minutes by car. You may spend your days savoring the serenity of the house or might decide to venture out to discover more Costa Rican adventures. From canopy tours or horseback riding in the wild, fishing, turtle watching, surfing or relaxing on the beach, your stay will be a favorite destination.

There is a 4-day minimum booking requested. We offer special prices for monthly requests. We do not rent out for weekends only. We highly recommend renting a 4-wheel drive car during your stay.

What to Bring:

Pool Essentials:
Waterproof earbuds, swim cap, nose clip, or any personal swim gear you prefer.
Towels, shower soaps, and hair care are provided.

Sun Protection:
Your favorite sunscreen.
A wide-brimmed hat (the equatorial sun is intense).
A long-sleeved sun shirt with a hoodie for boat outings.
Bug Repellent.
Bug spray or Avon Skin So Soft (order ahead if needed).
Keep your feet covered with repellant.

Footwear:
Oofos flip-flops or other padded sandals for hot, uneven surfaces and ceramic tile.
Flat sandals for dressier occasions.
Water shoes (optional).
Closed-toe sneakers (wear these on the plane; they’re great for walking outings).

Personal Care:
Your favorite hair care added products (local options are pricey), though shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available in all four showers.
A small container of hand sanitizer or wipes for dusty roads and bathrooms that may lack soap.

Clothing:
Lightweight, breathable clothes. Avoid white unless it’s a thin top.
A long dress for evenings.
Sun shirts, if fishing (one might get stained).
Pack light—temperatures range from 80–98°F.
Have an outdoor and indoor pair of flip-flops for comfort on hot decks and around the pool.

Jewelry:
Stick to costume jewelry with stones, brass, or natural materials. Think “hippy, jungle casual.” Bring earrings if desired.

Extras:
While we have thermoses at the house, please bring your own travel thermos—we like ours to stay at Dolce Far Niente.
Bring anything you truly can’t live without.

What Not to Bring:
High heels (impractical for the environment).
Expensive jewelry (too valuable to risk).
We provide a beach mat and beach towels which are ready for your use. We also have coolers both foam and plastic.

Additional Tips:
Keep your packing stress-free—essentials are covered, and there’s a washing machine available with soap at no charge.
