Great stay, we enjoyed the pool area never got to busy. Easy walk to the beach but also took the shuttle once as the driver volunteered her services. Beds were comfy and lots of room for some family game nights/UNO

Cute family vaca

Enjoyed our stay very much. Very close to pool. Rooms were a great size. Only thing that was a pain was the upstairs baloney door very hard to open n close but other than that great stay for our family of 5 and another family of 4.

We arrived to a lot of broken things in the house. Broken door knobs, toilet paper holder, and we had a broken bed. We did reach out and they sent someone out but it never got fixed. My husband had to fix everything else. There were hardly any cleaning supplies which are usually provided. We had 4 smaller boys who tried to play ball in the driveway and got in trouble by security. It was a nice house, and close to everything which was a positive.

Thank you for sharing feedback about Southern Comfort VCB. I’m very sorry you arrived to multiple broken items and that the initial repair visit didn’t resolve them — that fell short of our standards. I also apologize for the lack of cleaning supplies and for the disruption with security while your kids were playing. Actions we’re taking based on your notes: - We’ve scheduled a full property inspection and will repair or replace the door knobs, toilet paper holder, and the bed immediately, and confirm all fixtures are secure and safe. - We’ll review the service request follow-up to understand why repairs weren’t completed on the first visit and will reinforce expectations with our maintenance team. - We’ll coordinate with community security/property management to clarify driveway rules to avoid issues with future guests. Thank you again for letting us know — your feedback helps us improve.

We have booked this home severalTimes on our trip to Destin over the years with our kids and it’s comfortable and well maintained. They also have more than enough kitchen seating for the number of guests they can accommodate, which is a rarity amongst homes. We gave it 4 stars only because of a broken master suite bed. It looks as if the middle bottom brace will need replaced as the supports no longer hold. My husband and I discovered this immediately as the bed caves badly towards the center. This resulted in me sleeping on the couch as it was utterly impossible for two people to sleep on the king bed. I therefore got nearly no sleep the entire trip.

The place was nice and convenient location for shopping and close to the beach. The pool was large and clean. The only issues were some of the box springs on the beds were broken and the floors needed to be mopped. If you walked around inside with your shoes off your feet would be very dirty. The rest of the house was clean.
