Very beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Close to Hanalei Bay, about a 10 minute drive to the beach. A lot to explore in the area from the paved multipurpose trail in the neighborhood to multiple beaches (all with their own style) within a 20 minute drive. Perfect for anyone who likes to be away from the bustle but still have access to everything.

Decent accommodation

Location was great and condo was comfortable enough. Furniture not at all like pictured online and living room seating not very comfortable. All in all fine for the beginning of our trip.

Perfect location, clean, adorable place for solo vacationer

Tiki Villa was perfect to suit my needs on a recent 10 day solo vacation to Kauai. The location is great - close to nearby shops & restaurants and very safe/comfortable for me. Inside the villa, my back/neck issues were a non-issue due to the awesome pillows and mattress. The kitchen had everything I could need and more. Jan was phenomenally communicative and made sure I enjoyed my trip - before, during AND after my stay. I will definitely be returning for another visit to Kauai - and would select the same place to stay time and time again! Mahalo!

Good but not great

We loved and always love our stay on princeville. It’s in a prime location and Mari was extraordinarily helpful. The beds are super comfy, the shower was hot and the condo was entirely functional (aside from the dryer) That said there is LOT to improve the quality of this condo. The lanai is super dirty, the pool equipment was rusty and filthy - we didn’t use it. Both bedroom are in good shape, while some of the drawers don’t open or have bottoms. The refrigerator is 30 years old but works well enough, but knocks. The dryer didn’t work when we arrived, but was fixed. The appliances are old, the doors are off track on the pantry, the screen door to the entry is ripped.While we’ve stayed in princeville 3 times, and all the condos are dated, this one needed attention. We likely wouldn’t stay here again due to the lack of TLC.TLDR: this condo is old but comfortable, there are better quality condos for the same price in the same area. The host is lovely.

Excellent location with easy access to Haena via shuttle, Hanalei for shopping and dining, and lots of beautiful nearby beaches with INCREDIBLE snorkeling. The condo was a bit dated but was clean and well-stocked with just about anything you might need for a longer stay. The patio was expansive and great for coffee/breakfast in the morning and winding down in the evening. The host was attentive, checked in with us regularly, and responded quickly to inquiries. My only complaint (and it's minor because we spent little time inside during our stay) was the air conditioning/windows. The condo does not have central air. Instead, 2 portable units have been installed which were insufficient to maintain a comfortable temperature in the condo during the heat of the day. This situation was not helped by the fact that a couple of the louvered windows were damaged and couldn't be closed. We stayed in May so we just opened all the windows when we got back in the evening and it was cool enough outside to make the place comfortable reasonably quickly. The complex has a great little pool which stayed at a perfect temperature, and a fantastic (actually HOT) hot tub which helped sooth our aches after hiking, along with a couple of gas grills for community use. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location

Our family rented this condo for the past week and it was wonderful! The location was perfect, the condo was perfectly set up for our family of 4. We ate our dinners on the lanai....amazing memories were made here! The condo was well stocked and the owner was extremely helpful and nice!! I definitely recommend this rental!!

Great property and location

We spent a month in this condo- just LOVED the location! There were 2 of us for 2 weeks and 5 of us for 2 weeks. The communication with the host was excellent- she responded to us whenever we needed. We thought the futon in the living room would accommodate an adult but it didn’t. Our 5th guest had to sleep on the couch but we made it work. We really enjoyed the condo - it had wonderful outdoor space on the porch. There was snorkel equipment and beach accessories like boogie board and mats and cooler. There was a washer and dryer which was very convenient- they weren’t working when we first arrived but the host had it replaced and gave us clean towels and linens when we needed them. The master bedroom was spacious and the loft was also a nice space with a great second bathroom. The only problem we had was with the apartment next door which is a studio- the sound insulation needs to be improved. We were able to hear their TV at times. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub on property along with the 2 big Weber grills. We had a wonderful month there and hope to return. Marie could not have been nicer or more accommodating to our needs.

Great place to stay for exploring Kauai! We loved having a full kitchen, and the pool and hot tub were nice after a full day of hiking, snorkeling, and exploring.

Had a wonderful time! We spent two weeks over Christmas and endured some pretty crazy storms along with the moar beautiful weather and scenery imaginable. An amazing experience! Jan Marie was wonderful at keeping us informed of storm procedures and very quick to respond to any questions. 3 teenage boys in the unit and we were very comfortable

Fantastic place!

The apartment was just as it was described. Kitchen fully equipped even though we didn't cook that much. The beach equipment, chairs, small cooler... was a plus. good location, good value

Overall good experience. The owner is exceptionally attentive to her guests' needs and answers all inquiries promptly. The condo is funkily furnished but is roomy, has comfy beds, and a nice outside porch where we ate all our meals. The pool area is immaculate and has a hot tub and two nice grills for barbecue needs. Beach chairs, a boogie board and snorkel equipment are a plus. Lots of walking trails and a great library you can walk to. A couple of beaches nearby but most others need a car to access.

The perfect escape

The condo was full of delightful little details and very comfortable overall. Our daughter loved the loft and the peaceful shower in the there. The property has amazing trees all the kids love to climb and my daughter was mesmerized by them. What an experience. My husband spent most evenings sitting by the lanai and reading. The best beaches are a few minutes drive away and we alternated between beaches and pool every day many times. Overall it is a very lovely place to stay and close to everything. The whole Princeville area is peaceful and beautiful. I would recommend this condo and Jan was very responsive and helpful.

Perfect!

My husband and I had an amazing time celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary! Jan was wonderful and her place was perfect. It is in a great location and was exceptionally clean. Wonderful condo with aloha spirit!

We recently stayed at Villa Tiki during our vacation with our two children. It was a very comfortable place to return to at the end of a day exploring and spending the day at the beach; well-stocked with beach equipment, games that we played on a rainy day, and kitchen equipment so we could prepare some of our meals at home. The complex has a nice pool and is in a great location in Princeville. The owner, Jan, is super responsive to text/messaging and was friendly and helpful in answering questions from before we booked the condo to after we had checked out, even calling personally when we were visiting during the hurricane watch to ensure we were safe and knew what to do in the condo to prepare. Mahalo for your hospitality, Jan—we very much enjoyed our stay here!

Awesome place to stay in Kauai

The unit was very well stocked, even with the little things that save you from buying them at the store. Examples are vegetable oil, spices, aluminum foil, etc. It was also stocked with beach toys and chairs so we didn't have to rent them. There was even a hand vacuum so we could clean our rental car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the unit to others. Jan was super responsive also.

Great, clean and affordable place to stay in Princeville, owner very good to work with.

This condo complex is located just across the road from the Makai Golf Course in Princeville and just down the road from the Princeville Community Center which has a Foodland grocery store, gas station, Ace Hardware, banks, clothing boutiques and several restaurants. It is located within walking distance to the Queens Bath trail head and just a short drive to the town of Hanalei. The Makai Golf Course has a beautiful sunset golf cart tour that is a must for a very reasonable $60.00 a couple. Jan, the owner was very quick in responding to all our questions and the condo was just as stated and had every amenities you could think of including beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, beach towels and 2 bicycles. The complex has a nice pool, hot tub and two gas grills that we used to cook hamburgers and hot dogs one night. Parking was a little tight but we were there during Peek holiday time (Jan 6-13, 2018) and were expecting it. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!!

Clean, comfortable, convenient

My partner and I had a wonderful time here for several weeks in March. We loved being so close to Hanalei Bay (a 7-10 minute drive)! My mom came to visit and enjoyed using the boogie board and beach mats available at the condo. The kitchen was well equipped and Jan was quick to respond to our questions. Everything was exceedingly clean.

Great place to land

My husband and I actually stayed here for 3 months as a place to live until we found something more permanent upon moving onto the island. The landlord, Jan, is wonderful and very accomodating. There is everything you need, including bikes, boogie boards, a cooler, and all the ammenities of being at home. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! You are so close to lots of cool beaches you can hike down to, the little town square, golfing, and other cute towns. It was big enough for 2 but could easily fit more. The complex is well kept and the pool/ hot tub/ grill area is great for windind down and meeting new people. We had no complaints about our actual unit or experience but I will let you know that the complex does allow smoking. People are supposed to go away from the units but with open windows and a breezy climate, you may have to deal with it a bit. So if you are severely allergic or something, it might be a factor. Otherwise, this place was great for us and we will probably stay there again when we go back to Kauai. Aloha!

Our perfect home for our honeymoon!

What a marvelous place! My husband and I spent 8 nights of our honeymoon at this beautiful furnished, luxury and very well equipped condo in Princeville (Kauai, HI) and we loved it. The condo is located in a smaller resort, which also has a big pool (also good for swimming) and a hot tub. Everything was so clean, quit, safe and the resort well maintained. It is also very well located; super market nearby, just a short drive away from one of the most beautiful beaches on Kauai “Anini Beach” and the lovely village Hanalei as well as the very famous Napali Coast. We would definitely choose this condo again for a next visit on Kauai and we would highly recommend it for a honeymoon or to anyone who is looking for a romantic and luxury place on the north shore of Kauai.
