Nice condo

The condo was large, the pictures don’t do it justice. The view was nice from the balcony. Location was great, far enough from the main drag of Myrtle Beach but still tons to do. Barefoot Landing is just on the other side of the plaza, tons of restaurants, arcade, volleyball, etc. The pool was nice, there is a restaurant right next to it, all within walking distance. There is a shuttle to the beach, the beach is not within walking distance. The only complaint is that the cleaning was not good. Floors were dirty, walls have drip marks (need to be washed), the balcony was filthy and a cooler left by previous guests was still on the balcony. Overall, 4 stars.

Pleasantly surprised!

When we entered the property, we were thoroughly impressed. Tons of space and a great view. Our party of 6 was more than comfortable and the condo was set up where it was quiet pretty much all of the time. We enjoyed watching the 'swing bridge' do its thing and the wave runners and boats stroll along. The pool was also of great size and staying open until 10 pm was a pleasant surprise. Beds were comfy and having the washer and dryer in the condo was fantastic. Can't say enough good things about our experience. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the service from Vacation Rentals of North Myrtle Beach. I am sorry I didn't get either of the ladies' names that helped us upon arrival, but they were great. We had golf clubs shipped and they arrived a day early and that was no problem and they were waiting for us at VRNMB's offices. Thanks again!

The entrance to the condo was dirty and unwelcoming. The walls in the condo are all marked up and dirty. It desperately needs to be painted. The floors were dirty. Days 3 & 4 were hot and dry.3 BR & 3 bathrooms worked beautifullyBR C has a King bed but is VERY HIGH. I travel with a step stool. Using the step stool still did not allow me to sit on the edge of the bed. Too high!Door code, not keys worked nicely.Kitchen roomy for several people. Refrigerator quite spacious. 2 issues: 1) BR B bath sink drain stopper was stuck in the down position, would not come up so water would not drain. Although reported immediately, had to wedge it open for the entire week. 2) One of the dining room chairs had a broken leg. It had been pushed to the corner of the room but we needed it. 1st time someone sat on it, he knew the leg was broken...pushed back in the corner!The pool was huge. The steps getting in and out were very high. There is a railing but even with that I needed help with the top step (5'1"). I did not see a handicapped seat. There are also ladders to use. The hot tub is large but was closed the day we went to the pool. The villa was given 1 pool key. This is a bit inconvenient if your group arrives at the pool at different times.The building could use a few more luggage carts.The elevator always arrived quickly but there is a curb at the entrance. You have to circle to the right or left in a round about way to get to the elevator with a cart.Only 2 parking passes per villa. We needed 3 (arriving from 3 states). A bit inconvenient.

Family and Friends Getaway

The property looked exactly like the pictures. It was very spacious and the views were spectacular. Some cons from the visit were that the property was fairly dusty, giving the impression that it had been sitting vacant since the last cleaning. We had to thoroughly sweep the unit, as we had an infant traveling with us who enjoyed being on the floor. We had an issue with a leaky refrigerator and broken can opener. Our washer in the unit also went out a couple of days prior to checking out. The management office was very responsive, as far as answering the phone and listening to the status of our unit. However, the matters were not addressed until the afternoon before we left, when sent someone by to look at the refrigerator, look at the washer and replace the can opener. The repairs were occurring as we left for the beach. However, upon return the washer was still filled with water and the refrigerator was still leaking. Though those issue put a slight damper on things, as they were unexpected; I was still very pleased with my stay. My goal was to be as vocal as possible about my concerns while still in our unit, instead of leaving a negative review after checkout. The management team from checking in to checking out (at 3 am) were very responsive and courteous. My friends and I were pleased with our vacation and enjoyed our stay in North Myrtle Beach.

No Working Refrigerator

After several attempts at checking the temp and proving it didn’t work we were told it was over filled. Which proved not to be the case when it was not full and still only brought the temperature down to the 50’s. This unit is definitely in need of a new refrigerator.

The tv stands are covered with dust and the bathrooms curtains need to be changed. The floors also needed cleaning . If these things are taken care of, this will be a great vacation home. It will also be great if the elevators are kept clean and if the maintenance crew can respond in a timely manner . One of the bathroom lights went out on day two of our stay. I informed the VR office twice and it was not taken care of for the rest of our stay.

Pretty space

We were in one unit but had an issue that was resolved quickly and were moved. I liked the first unit for the amount of beds and the fluffiness of them. I liked the second unit for it's actual design. I wish the pool had a deeper end but definitely enjoyed the jacuzzi spa. I definitely would say that having a maintenance person on the property 24/7 would be a great idea also. But overall great!

View, Convenience, Practical

This is a very spacious 3 Bedroom, 3 FULL bath property. Had everything 3 adult couples would need. Biggest pluses= separate en suite for each bedroom, separate A/C controls for comfort. We appreciated having PLENTY of coffee cups and glassware! Lots of dining options within walking/driving distance including the new Basil & Garlic right at the Marina. $5 martini's on Wed and their pizza was amazing! Now, minuses, furniture and carpeting need updating. Both are in rough shape.
