We’re ideally located near scenic hiking trails, the Bear and American Rivers, and Rollins Lake. Winter sports enthusiasts will love that we’re just a 40-minute drive to the slopes—yet at 2,500 feet, we’re below the snow line for year-round accessibility. The historic train-stop town of Colfax is only 5 minutes away, and the vibrant communities of Auburn and Grass Valley are nearby, offering great restaurants, unique shops, and local charm.

Inside, this custom-built home is designed for relaxation and connection. The top floor features an open living and kitchen area with a spacious deck—perfect for morning coffee, evening sunsets, or stargazing. The primary suite includes a king bed, private bath with a walk-in tiled shower, and a small desk for writing or remote work.

This place was really comfortable and in a peaceful country setting. The house is brand new and has lots of space. The only thing missing is WiFi and tv service. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 star rating. However, there is good cell service and you can use your mobile phone to stream through the tv. Communication with the owners was great and they were readily available to answer questions. I’d definitely recommend this home especially if you’re looking to get away to a serene environment.
