Wonderful Location

Property is situated near college, hospital, downtown restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Home was comfortable and has been nicely updated, providing everything we needed for a long weekend in town attending a wedding. I would recommend to others!

We needed a place for 5, and this fit the bill. It was clean, and all of us had our own bed. It’s hard for a family of five to find a hotel room. We had a great stay.

We only had to stay one night, but the house was amazing! So much room, so I know if we come back, I can bring more family and friends. Convenient to the college and town. Very clean! Very easy to work with them and communicate with the owners. Thank you so much! Hope to be back soon!

Host was Non responsive and unprofessional. Told me she did not like that I asked her questions and she cancelled our reservation the day we were to arrive.

Hi Allison, Your reservation was cancelled on the advice of VRBO client service due to the negative message interaction regarding your payment of the additional night. Your dishonest account of what transpired is big part of the cancellation. For reasons unknown, after many conversations on VRBO messenger, you decided to stop using VRBO messenger and called my husband once and did not leave a message. On the day of your arrival via messenger, you claimed to have contacted us multiple times via phone to which we promptly replied to. You were unhappy about the charge for extra night you requested and repeatedly accused us of adding charges, which is incorrect. We still tried to accommodate and clarified the charge (you added a weekend day which is higher price) as well as communication issues (that she did not leave any messages). You would not pay for the extra night you wanted and I advised that you would be cancelled as you were not happy. As the cancellation was in progress, you made payment, which was too late at that point. Your negative comments regarding my husband and our home made us feel very uncomfortable to have you in our home and VRBO agreed and advised us to cancel after ascertaining that there was multiple homes available for you just around our home.

This is a lovely home for visiting our college students. It is very clean. We were able to cook a meal for our kids and a few friends of their friends. Heather was very responsive when I messaged her. I would stay here again.

Fast weekend family trip

We drove into town with our larger than average family. It worked out wonderfully. Plenty of space for us. Close to Hillsdale campus to visit our daughter. Communication was great and host was very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Family Time

Home in Hillsdale Worked Perfectly for Us

We were here for a funeral of a family member who passed too soon and we are all heartbroken and evn though we used none of the amenities (nice kitchen to cook food) evwryrhing was very nice and so muc better than staying in a hotel. We live in Illinois so had people coming and going at different times due to work/life schedules and this worked out perfectly for us.
