Noise

The air conditioner in the clubhouse is situated right near the lovely porch of this unit. We loved sitting outside. We hated hearing a nearly constant whine from that air conditioning unit attached to the other building. It whined all day and all night. The upstairs bedroom logistically closest to the clubhouse building could hear that whine throughout the night. This is nothing to do with the owners or the property but it did impact the stay.

Attractive Home But Deceptive Listing of Amenities

There were 4 adults in our group. We were biking in the area and needed a comfortable place for 4 adults with a big kitchen for cooking. This home fit the bill with a good size kitchen & large kitchen-island for several cooks; as well as a gas BBQ and deck for grilling. It has a nice view of the golf course and Columbia River. Unfortunately the ice machine in the fridge was broken and water had leaked onto the living room carpet. The property manager had to turn off the water to the fridge, so no ice. The on-site manager kindly offered to bring us a bucket of ice, but the timing didn't work out for us. Not a big deal but the carpet next to the kitchen remained wet during our stay. The bed in the primary 1st floor bedroom is a queen NOT a king bed - as advertised. Also, the upstairs bedroom with the view of the golf course has a queen size box spring on the bottom, but a smaller-double-sized foam mattress placed on top of the box springs which made it a very small bed for my 6 ft+ husband and myself. When we pulled back the bedspread we could see the deception which does not show in the photos when the bedspread is covering everything. A professional hotel would NEVER get away with that. Frustrating! Probably would not stay in that unit again.

Sunserra is a very exclusive, private resort with great views of the Columbia River. They have their own 9 hole par 3 golf course, convenience store, restaurant, and ice cream/coffee shop. The resort has several pools and hot tubs with all of them for you use while staying with us. We also have pickleball/tennis/basketball courts and a gym.
