The Beatnik Bungalow was a perfect place for a girls getaway! The location was amazing and being so close to the water was great. Everything you need including coffee, snacks and plenty of firewood for the fire pit! Especially enjoyed all the blankets to make couch time more enjoyable at the start of cooler weather!

Communication with host was fantastic.House was clean and inviting!The detail of decorating the house with retro everything was fabulous! The old games and decor was awesome. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy.We loved being so close to the beach and picked up a lot of sea glass. Went to Niagra Falls one day and it was a short easy drive. Would stay here again!

VRBO was perfectly located along the way back to Rochester, New York… Enjoyed the sounds of Lake Erie as well as the proximity to Presque Isle State Park. Would definitely recommend it again.

It was the first VRBO I was sad to check out of. We got a thank you card with a welcome message in it soon as we walked in. They thought of every little detail to make it a smooth and comfortable stay, from the complementary coffee to the dental floss in the bathroom drawer. The beds were comfortable, the couch was cozy. It felt like home but better… because I didn’t need to clean like I do at home lol

The space was so comfortable! It was like a home away from home! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living space was a perfect hangout for our girls weekend!

Beatnik Bungalow was wonderful!The house is absolutely adorable, and fully equipped for whatever you might need.The location is great - close to town and wineries, but for summer visitors just a short walk to the lake.I would definitely stay in the future!

We hadn't had a chance to take a vacation since our son was born and with him being 1 now and us being invited to a wedding in Erie, we figured we could make a weekend of it and get our kiddos some time on the lake. Eric and Rebecca left us a wonderful welcome note and some snacks for the kiddos. The property was clean and well maintained. Comfrotable furniture, and firm mattresses (which is my preference). We weren't able to take advantage of the guide book but there were quite a few places we'd have loved to visit if we had the time. We walked to the beach our first day, and drove down our second day as there was plenty of available parking at the access point. If you're heading to the area for a wedding at the Beach Glass Estates like we did, you should know that it was only a 5 minute drive to get there. If we find ourselves heading into the area again we'll certainly check to see if the property is available!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is perfect for exploring Erie and the Lake Erie Wine Country. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to the lake is a huge bonus. The house is nicely decorated with lots of fun little details and stocked with anything you may need for a stay. Owners were great! Highly recommend.

Girls' trip

This home was perfect! From the retro decor, snacks, coffee bar,fresh vase of flowers to the personalized welcome note from the owners! The beds were super comfy and the shower perfect. It's walking distance to the beach which is one of the reasons we chose this location. We will definitely be booking again!

Its a very cozy house and the neighborhood is very quiet. The owners are so thoughtful and took the time to write a thank you note and providing snacks. It's a 10 minute walk to Freeport Beach.

Everything was cleaned well, as well as everything you could want was provided. Nice quiet area. Sits up on a hill and is super cute bungalow! Loved the surroundings! Quick walk down to the beach. The Hosts went above and beyond to make sure you felt welcomed. I would definitely stay again if in the area.
