Great vacation home!

Excellent vacation rental as described, quite neighborhood. Clean, comfortable beds, kids loved the pool and hot tub. Hope to get to enjoy it again in the future.

Family time

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and simple with all necessities included. The AC was able to keep up with 118 degrees heat during our stay. The pool was enjoyable for kids and adults. Grocery stores were easily accessible for last minute needs. It was indeed a perfect spot when visiting Lake Shasta!

Beds are really comfortable. Everything is very clean. We had a very good time staying at this VRBO. It is definitely one we will book again. I can honestly say it’s the best communication I’ve had with the check-in admin in any VRBO we’ve stayed at.

I'll start by saying if the house description included key details I would of never stayed here and would not be giving it 2 stars. My criteria for the house was location and 3 bathrooms. The location was perfect as only 2 minutes from family. The bathrooms is where we run into trouble. The 3rd bathroom was down a very steep set of stairs where the laundry was. No other reason to go down there. In the middle of the night this bathroom is unusable for all our guests. There was not a single picture of this or mention of this. This is a big deal and should be noted. Also the steps up to the front door is 12 steps. Once again no pictures or mention of this in the house description. Of all the homes I've looked at in the past and have rented if access to the house or something out of the expected it is mentioned. One if my family members with mobility issues made it up into the house and did nit leave till we checked out 4 days later due to thise stairs, missing a concert she had tickets to. I won't go into the TV situation which made us miss several of the playoff games. The house in general was fine. Good kitchen supply, room for entertainment, the outside entertainment area and pool was nice though not used due to it being cold. Only other note is if light sleeper you'll hear the, maybe the pool pump, come on at 1am and at 5 am and run for 20 plus minutes. So if stairs and no need of the 3rd bathroom then I'm sure you'll enjoy this house.

This is consistent with many vacation rentals in our area. Because of this, we always encourage guests to reach out prior to booking if they have specific needs related to mobility, accessibility, or bathroom placement. We’re more than happy to provide additional clarity in advance so guests can ensure the home is the right fit for their group. During your stay, we also offered multiple times to assist with the TV concerns in real time, but assistance was declined. Clear communication during a stay allows us the opportunity to address and resolve issues as they arise. We understand that not every home is the perfect fit for every group, and we appreciate your feedback. Our goal is always transparency, guest safety, and a positive experience, and we remain available both before and during each stay to help guests make informed decisions.

family trip

We had a wonderful time. The house was spacious enough for 9 of us and we were very comfortable. The pool was a hit with all of us. The owner was communicative when we needed him to be otherwise he left us alone. More of a heads up than a complaint because we did enjoy our stay very much, but this is the 3rd time we have rented a VRBO and the propane tanks were empty for bbq'ing. We had a slight mishap with the gas stove, but it was promptly taken care of. Through no fault of the owner, the guests before us left the place a mess so we weren't able to check in until 5pm. This was disappointing, but we are appreciative that the cleaning crew didn't cut corners to get us in on time. The place was very clean. This will definately be on our 1st choices of places to stay on our 2025 family trip!
