Other Things to Note: We also supply the following for each property: A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay
There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

We had a great MDW at this property and would stay here again. The house is located on a quiet street that is walking distance to public beach access and a few bars / restaurants. Easy drive to downtown Wilmington and other area attractions. Despite it being a holiday weekend, we were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find a spot on the beach and navigate around Carolina / Wilmington Beach.
We loved the house and the amenities! The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The gas grill in the backyard was a plus! The neighborhood felt very safe and quiet and we enjoyed many walks around the nearby lake with our dog. Communication with the host was always positive and quick. We hope for a chance to return!
