The Hidden Canyon Cabins are back!



Hosted by the Ruidoso Lodge Cabins. This 5 acre tract, Hidden Canyon is one of the largest properties in the Upper Canyon of Ruidoso providing a secluded, peaceful and ultimate get-away experience.



The Hidden Retreat (14) is the penthouse cabin located at the top of the Hidden Canyon mountain.



Just minutes away from Ruidoso's Midtown, enjoy shopping, eating, and entertainment, while knowing you have a peaceful resting place to come back too after!

This gorgeous mountain hideaway accommodates 2 guests. The bedroom is on the main level of the home and is fitted with a king-size bed.

This sunlit kitchen comes fully furnished with all the necessary appliances, utensils, and cooking equipment you need to settle in comfortably. The carefully crafted design of this home offers a generous living space. The dining area accommodates 2 guests around a wooden table.



The primary living space is equipped with a high-definition TV, complete with a Roku entertainment system for unrestricted access to your preferred streaming platforms, bathed in daylight streaming through expansive windows. Revel in the breathtaking natural scenery and bask in the cozy sunlight of this tranquil retreat.

The exterior area of this home boasts gorgeous views and unrivaled privacy. A deck leading from the cabin out to tall pines, allowing you to appreciate the breathtaking views from this exclusive cabin. Lounge in the sun on your viewing deck, or enjoy a quaint seating area and BBQ are situated on the deck of this lovely home for use during your stay.

Welcome! Your cabin is set up for self check-in, making arrival simple and stress-free, no need to meet anyone in person.



🕒 Standard Check-In Time: 3:00 PM

If you’re hoping to arrive earlier, feel free to give us a call! We’ll do our best to accommodate early check-in requests based on availability and cleaning schedules.



No need to let us know if you're arriving late. You’re welcome to check in anytime after 3 PM.



We love furry animals and pets are allowed at the Hidden Canyon cabins. Please note, the area is not fenced in and wildlife frequent the area. Please keep pets on leash! And please note there is an additional pet fee of $50. If the pet fee hasn’t been added to your reservation yet, we’ll send a request for payment.



SMOKING:

Guests, please note *no smoking allowed inside home or close to entryways* violating this rule will result in immediate removal with no refund and a $350 cleaning fee.



Please note that the cabin is also accessible via 34 outdoor steps. Guests should be comfortable with stairs when booking.

This is our new favorite cabin in Ruidoso. Location was perfect, close to town but private. We enjoyed the porch and quietness. The cabin was the perfect getaway for a reset weekend. Host responded to questions in minutes. Definitely recommend this place.

We wanted a quick night away in the mountains. This rental checked all the boxes for us. The cabin was modern and well laid out. The setting was lovely and we spent a very nice evening sitting outside watching the sun go down from the front porch. We will definitely be back.

Perfect for couples

We absolutely love this cabin it was nice and quiet. perfect for a few days stay. Your at the dead end so no traffic at all. We seen deer in the yard. Really nice !!! The only issue we had was the bed its to soft..not good for the elderly that need a good firm mattress but over all this place is beautiful inside and out. Would stay again

The cabin was set up very welcoming with dinner table set up with dishes. The host sent an email with the welcome letter including arrival instructions and notice that the fire place is broken. When we arrived, we had no Internet connection, no TV service, fire place didn’t work and several other maintenance issues that we ran into like TV had only 3 legs to stand on and was set on something to lean on.I contacted the host every day but the issue was not fixed. We got lots of nice ChatGPT written excuses but no action. My husband and I were not able to take very important work zoom calls nor to relax watching movies. It was our both birthdays get away, we drove 10 hours to get there unfortunately I would not recommend this place ( unless they fix these issues). We requested a 25% refund for the inconvenience, considering my husband and I had to type WIFY password probably 50 times and it still didn’t work. Compensation request was declined. Again, this is my feedback. If you are a future guest at this cabin base your decision wisely to stay there. All my best.

Had to be relocated

We did not stay at the cabin we'd reserved due to the recent flooding and fires; however, Chris (sp?) in the office was very accommodating and went above and beyond to get us in as private a cabin and most similar to the one we'd booked as possible. Everything was great!

Nice place. But very dark. AC wouldn't stay on.

We enjoyed our stay but there was severely inadequate lighting. Barely had enough light to read a book. AC worked but would only stay on for an hour or two.

Hi Jeff! Thanks so much for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall! We had our team take a look after your visit, and everything seemed to be working fine, the AC was running properly, and there weren’t any burnt-out lightbulbs. That said, the cabins in that area do have a cozier, more rustic feel, so they can be a bit darker. Opening the blinds usually helps bring in a lot more natural light during the day. We really appreciate you pointing this out, it’s helpful for us to hear what guests experience firsthand, and we’re always looking for ways to make the space more comfortable. Hope to have the chance to host you again!
