Great property that appears to have just been completely renovated. Gorgeous gulf views directly from the master bedroom. Family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others.

The condo was perfectly located, right size for me and my husband. The condo is in need of some TLC. The ceiling paint was peeling off, the furniture needs to be cleaned and the toilet insides need to be replaced. The shower looks like it had been cleaned in a while. There was black mold around the bottom of the shower. I bought Clorox bathroom cleaner and cleaned it my self. I also bought sheets to cover the sofa and love seat so that we could sit on the furniture.

The condo was clean and adequately stocked with all the essential needs. Great ocean view and location. Having stayed several times at Edgewater I believe this is my favorite spot in the resort due to the proximity to the beach and all the amenities Edgewater offers. The only downside I would offer is as listed in several reviews the mattress has about lasted it’s life expectancy. Overall this is a great unit and we would stay here again.

The layout of the condo was perfect. It should have had more kitchen supplies and actual coffee mugs instead of espresso mugs. Everything should be checked before the next renter comes in. The shower hose was leaking and the bedroom TV didn’t work until 2 days before we left.
Actual mug next to the mugs we bought at Walmart.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great week! The unit was clean and it was easy to communicate with owners and the staff there. The Edgewater had everything you could need in one place and wouldn’t have had to leave for anything during the week unless you wanted! It was great for adults, teens, and children.

Nice stay

Over all the place was perfect for a couple. I will say they really need to invest in another mattress. One week on that mattress was tough. Master bath shower has issue, tends to hold water and you have to use your foot to move water down to the drain. I do like this end of panama better because it is not as busy.

Good Location

Some updates have been done to the unit but furniture needs to be updated/replaced. Older couches and chair in living room. Minimal furniture on balcony. Convenient location on the 3rd floor. Main bedroom is very large and it was convenient to have washer and dryer in unit. Overall, good experience!

The views were stunning from this unit. Beautiful beach, crystal clear water. Checkin was easy. Security at Edgewater is impressive. The complex is beautiful and feels like a resort. The kitchen was sparsely stocked with glassware and silverware. One garbage bag was available for a 10 night stay. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper was available, we had to buy more. Lighting was very poor in living room and bedroom.. Sink in master beedroom bathroom drained extremely slow. The bed was uncomfortable and had a raised hump in the middle.

Beautiful, Updated Room

This unit was beautiful and nicely updated. We love Edgewater and stay at least once a year with our extended family, so we have seen our fair share of units. This unit was one of our favorites so far. We had plenty of room for our immediate family of 4. The bedroom was spacious enough to accommodate a pack-n-play for our one-year-old and a blow up mattress for our three-year-old with plenty of room to spare. The pools are always clean, and the property as a whole is maintained better than most other places we’ve stayed. Plus, the location is excellent!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the view and the price was affordable. It was a bit disappointing when we had a fire alarm test the first day and the intercom buzzed the remainder of our stay. My daughter who was given the sofa bed had to stay in a family members condo because the noise was so annoying and loud. I called three times and one email, but after the first time they came, they just didn’t return when we needed help.

Property wonderful and a million dollar view. Shower didn’t drain...they did send someone to get the huge clog out but still has a puddle that didn’t drain. Hallway lights blinked, bed was terrible, and there was dust bunnies on the floor and hanging from ceiling. All vents needed cleaning.

The room was nice, but furniture, and barstools along with chair seats ALL needed to be deep cleaned. There was no broom so the sand that came into unit was suppose to be vacuumed I suppose. Doesn’t work well. There are drain flies that come from bathroom fungus that was in the showers. The mirror was not clean, it showed gray streaks. The whole unit needs to b sanitized. If it was it would be a fantastic place to stay! Location was nice as well! Me personally I will not be visiting Panama City again no time soon. Just not alot of excursions and overpriced for what you get.

Very good!

We loved our condo! Perfect location and very close to the stairs! We enjoyed having the option to just go up and down, or take the elevator if bringing the wagon to the beach! My only negative would be the bed was kinda rough, but it wasn’t terrible! Our door code changed 4 hours after check in, so 9:30 on Saturday night and I started to panic with a 4 year old and 1 year old, buttttt Emerald rentals did an awesome job of calling us right back and getting it handled!!! We had no other problems the rest of the trip with the door code!

Overall I would rate this visit as decent. A few things that added up to be a few somewhat major things.On our arrival day the condo was hosting an Ironman challenge and there was no parking and extremely limited access in or out. It would have been nice to know the condo was hosting such a large event in advance.Its not the condo owners fault but still an issue that tower 2 only had one working elevator. Thankfully we were only on floor 3, but if you tried to use the elevator at the wrong time (main check in and check out times) you may litterally wait over 30 minutes for the elevator.Ac in the living room and kitchen was cold, but in the bedroom there was not much AC so the bedroom would be 10-15 degrees warmer then the other rooms. Overall condo appeared clean, but we had a toddler with us who still prefers to crawl and first day after crawling it turned her hands and knees black so we went out and purchased our own cleaning supplies to reclean the floors. There were multiple lamps missing lightbulbs and the mattress is far past it's prime. Both me and my wife have sore backs from 7 nights on the terrible mattress.Lastly there were people working the beach setting up chairs and umbrellas that I assum are owned by the condo. They would make people move their stuff even if it was set up before their chairs. Moving items isnt that big of an issue but when you set up all your things early and have a toddler to then have to move everything further away is not acceptable.

It had huge craters in the mattress and was the worst bed we have ever slept on. There were 2 forks in the unit. The shower didn't drain in the master well, but was clean. The toilet seat was broken and was supposed to be repaired but we never had anyone come by. There was no dust pan to clean the floors. We were able to do an early check in which was a really nice option. Overall, the view was amazing, it was a great location to the pools and the beach and the restaurant onsite was top notch! Elevators even on a busy week were great.

Condo was awesome, the view was awesome!! The air conditioning thermostat would not turn down to my nightly desired temperature, it was locked out at no lower than 65 , I could live with that ok, but the bedroom was much warmer than the rest of the condo for some reason. Then the second day my wife and I was on the balcony relaxing and we noticed a man wandering around our condo, I confronted him and he asked where the leak was that we reported… I told him we had no leak and we haven’t reported anything, then he starts taking pictures of the ceilings gets on his phone and leaves. Then also during our stay we were called and ask if they could bring a potential buyer for the condo in during our stay because it is for sale….We denied!! When we rent a condo, we expect to have our privacy the whole time, unless it is a real emergency leave us alone!!

Hi Thanks for the feedback. During your stay there was a leak from a unit above, that is why the Edgewater maintenance had to enter the unit. A leak that can flood a whole stack of condos is considered an emergency. As far as the AC, it works just fine. Future guests can be assured that it cools nicely for any reasonable and healthy person. Thanks!

Nice condo, furniture not good

The condo is very nice and clean however, the sofa and loveseat looked very dirty and smelled really bad. The mattress is going down hill on the left side so you must lay in the center of the bed OR roll off of it. We put an extra comforter on the sofa so we could sit down. Such a shame because the condo is actually very pretty. No fault of the owner but when we arrived they were having the Ironman competition taking over half the parking lot. We couldn’t get to our tower and had to wait until they finally cleared away. They cancelled the competition because of the rain thank goodness or our whole weekend would have been putting up with that mess and parking far away from our entrance door.
