Regarding the temperature on arrival, winter check-ins can sometimes feel colder initially, especially with late arrivals, but the heating system was fully operational and designed to bring the home to a comfortable temperature once running. We appreciate the feedback and are reviewing ways to improve pre-arrival comfort during colder months. As for the exterior step, we agree this was frustrating. We were notified upon your arrival and immediately initiated a repair request. Unfortunately, coordinating an emergency exterior repair during icy winter conditions did cause a delay beyond our control. This has since been addressed, as guest safety is a priority for us. We truly value guest feedback, as it helps us improve. While we strive to maintain high standards that align with our pricing, we regret that this stay did not fully meet your expectations and appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. Firstly, we apologise for any shortcomings during your stay with us, we would have loved the opportunity to address the issues, if had given the chance. I am taken back by the nature of the complaints, most of which were NEVER brought to our attention during your stay nor could you provide any support of this when requested by VRBO support team. VRBO Owners - DO NOT rent to this person, they stayed for 1 week at our home, they refused to communicate through VRBO platform, would only send SMS message on private channels and then requested a full refund after they checked out. This account is NOT a person named Philip, its a woman who is clearly running a sad scam. Beware
