This cozy, family cottage is ready for swimming, campfires, stories and making memories.
Great hot-tub, fire pit, privacy with woods to the right of the home. Our neighbors are on the left side upon approach to our home.
Enjoy the beautiful expanse of fresh water that Smith Mountain Lake is famous for. You can enjoy swimming off the dock, fishing (be sure to get a fishing license), making smores at the campfire, or relaxing in the hot tub after a day out on the water. The house is located close to Mitchell's Marina where you can rent boats, pontoons, get fuel or drop your own boat in the water. Golf at Mariners Landing Golf Club, Copper Cove Golf Club.

Please note each dog is a dog fee of $150.00 . No puppies, nor cats , nor any other type of animal.

Weekend Getaway

We had the very best time here! Everything was super clean and the location is the definition of perfect. The host was super responsive to any questions we had. We loved it so much we extended our stay! Thank you Laurie for letting us stay at your lake cottage, we will definitely be back!

Very nicely furnished lakeside cabin, with a fairly easy to navigate dock. Just be aware of the stairs if you're carrying a lot down.

A wonderful stay!

My family and I stayed here for a long Memorial Day weekend. It was clean, and so welcoming. The lake is beautiful and we loved being able to fish and jump in from the dock. The hot tub was amazing and clean. We had the best time and loved every bit of our stay. Would highly recommend and would stay there again!

Much needed time away

This place ia AMAZING!!!! Its so qiute back here and the veiw of the cove is beautiful. A hot cup of coffee on the dock watching the sun rise. Beautiful. Boat rentals on the lake. Fishing great but a hard lake to fish. I think i may move up here from Northern Virginia

Labor Day Weekend

Had a great extended weekend here. Property was exactly as described. Loved the hot tub and proximity to the lake. I noticed the AC wasn't working properly our first morning there and the owner had someone repairing it before noon. Definitely would stay here again!

This vacation was on short notice. The owner of the property was very accommodating. The property and amenities were great. I would definitely recommend and will try and rebook at a later date

We had a lovely time! The owners were helpful when we had questions. Enjoyed swimming by the dock, sitting in the hot tub, and resting inside. Used a lot of mosquito repellant. The home was clean and had a nice option of cooking pots/pans and spices available. The home has a bunkbed and three other beds, full size or larger for a total of 4 bedrooms. However, to get downstairs to the fourth bedroom and game room, you need to go outside, which is not great when it is raining.

Restful Retreat

Nestled in a quiet cove just minutes from Mitchell’s Point Marina, this lakefront property offered everything we needed. Two levels allowed privacy for us and our adult son. Breakfast on the deck, a dock for our boat, hot tub to close out the day and comfortable beds. The property was just as advertised and communication with the owners was timely and attentive. Smith Mountain Lake offers such beauty with the clear water & beautiful mountain scapes. Bruno’s is a must for a delicious meal and such amazing owners and staff. Boating, golf, and wonderful family time. We will be back.
