Absolutely perfect lake home! This home is very private with the ability to be at restaurants or town rather quickly. Our host had excellent communion from the minute we booked to when we checked out. The beds were extremely comfortable, living spaces were very inviting and it was so easy to make ourselves at home for our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining. They have it all! The pool was clean and relaxing with many pool toys for the kids and big kids alike. All of the TV’s are smart TV’s so you can watch what you like as you would at your own home. There is even a TV on the porch which we loved watching football in the evenings. There are several outdoor areas including a fire pit and sitting areas. The salt water hot tub was clean and hot! Perfect for evenings to relax before bed. One of our favorite parts is the floating dock. We spent hours each day fishing as a family off the dock. Our daughter caught more fish than we did! We even caught a Walleye, which was on my husbands bucket list. I wish we could have stayed longer, but can promise we will be back! Our host and this home made it a memorable family trip!

Host was very helpful with information throughout the stay. We enjoyed the snacks too. Tons of amenities - clean pool, lots of water toys. Wish we had time for the fire pit. Beautiful, peaceful view.

We had an amazing time , place was lovely and the host Tammy has thought hard about what a guest would possibly require. It was great having the kayaks , the pool and the hot tub all there on hand , we had a brilliant time on the lake , never knew my family was so adventurous, so much fun . The host Tammy was so great , we never had problems just a couple of questions and she was just absolutely great . She even had some treats in a container for our dog , so very thoughtful. I can’t see how she could improve on anything but I have a feeling she will think of more things to make it always a great vacation/getaway .

Very cute and cozy spot, well equipped and clean. A little tricky navigating steep gravel driveway and kayaks need cleaning. Comfy bedrooms, lots of kitchen cookware. Very communicative owner. Really enjoyed our short stay.

First time at SML

Family of six stayed here for four nights. We had a great time on the lake, we were able to pull the boats right up to our dock at the house. The 6 person hot tub was great at night. The pool was refreshing.

Oasis Getaway

Some friends and I stayed at this beautiful home for a girls weekend and it was amazing! The house had everything we needed and was so close to everything! We spent our nights in the hot tub and making a fire and our days visiting the Alpaca farm, a local vineyard, downtown Roanoke, and a few other places. We definitely want to come back to experience the kayaks and SUP. So thankful for a great host.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and comfortable with everything you could need or want. Beds were super comfortable. Labor Day Weekend Getaway

This was a wonderful house to stay in with my 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter. The pool was a perfect addition. Absolutely loved how well equipped the home was and the kayaks and SUP’s made our weekend perfect. The house is located in a cove so it is quiet and more private but that allowed us to kayak with our young children and not worry about the bigger boats. Communication with Tammy was excellent and her timeliness to get any issues resolved was also great. Highly recommend!

Great Lake House

We stayed here for 5 days with my children and their spouses. Everyone enjoyed the stay. We loved the house, the lake, the pool and the kayaks. The few times we headed to town it was a 15-20 minute drive. We would definitely come again.

Peaceful

The location of this property is perfect! It was very peaceful and the lake was beautiful and clean. The house itself was exactly what we needed. Everything you need for a lake vacation is provided. My kid and husband both used the paddle board almost the entire time we were there. We loved that we were able to bring our dog on vacation with us and she enjoyed the lake as much as we did. We roasted marshmallows by the firepit, swam in the private pool (amazing), soaked in the hot tub, watched tv on the deck in the mornings with our coffees while looking at the beautiful lake view. The most amazing and relaxing vacation with a beautiful house. Tammy the host responded immediately when we had questions and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We can't wait to come back again!

Romantic Getaway

I rented this house for a romantic weekend with my girlfriend. The house was well kept and clean. The area is perfect. The house is located on a small private street. The only warnings I have is the driveway has some bumps that takes careful maneuver with low clearance vehicles and there is a spiral staircase that can be difficult for pets but a gate is there to prevent pets or small children from accessing the stairs. Everything was great and the house is pet friendly! The picnic and fire pit outside are really nice as well! I would definitely stay again!

Peaceful Perfection

We had such a wonderful time at the lake this year. Every space of the property is well planned providing ample space for fun in the pool, enjoying the water activities on the lake or relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire pit. One week wasn’t enough for us! Tammy communicated proactively to help acclimate us and responded quickly to any questions prior to, during and after our stay and is truly a pleasure to work with. She has thought of everything to make the property welcoming and comfortable for a home away from home experience. We are already planning for the next trip with every intention of making this our go to vacation spot. Thanks again for everything, Tammy!
