Downtown Bungalow! Dog Friendly - WIFI!

This comfortable home has two bedrooms, two full baths, an electric fireplace (no mess) inside and fire-pit outside. A fenced backyard with covered deck provides a sense of privacy, yet so close to town; a perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking/biking in nearby forests, seeking out the many waterfalls, or walking to town to enjoy the shops, restaurants, brewery and more!

White squirrels are regular visitors. Other features include two flat screen TVs, cable, WIFI, washer/dryer, central heat and air, and BBQ grill.

Brevard is a perfect home base and only a short drive to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, and other attractions like the Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, NC Nature Center, the Carl Sandburg home and the professional, NC State Theater known as Flat Rock Playhouse.

Wonderful weekend at the Blue Bungalow! I loved that we could walk to the stores and restaurants, s convenient. It was a getaway for my husband and myself, along with our pups. Having a level fenced yard was great.

As advertised, great value and location. Within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. Furnishings reminded me of my grandmothers home in the 60’s classic old school but comfortable. Outdoor deck with seating is great for end of the day cocktails and to hang wet fishing waders and boots. Overall one of my favorite stays in the Brevard area.

This lovely bungalow was perfect. It had everything we needed, was super clean and had comfortable beds and furniture. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog Mojo. I highly recommend this rental and would certainly stay there again.

We loved the proximity to town. Shops and restaurants were within a 5 minute walk from the front door.The fenced in yard was wonderful for my senior dog. There was plenty of shade, and we felt comfortable leaving him in the yard while we went sight seeing. We will most definitely book again!

Great bungalow

The bungalow was roomier than we expected. It was very clean and very cozy for our visit with our teenager and 2 small dogs. The fenced in, private backyard was so convenient and the location was perfect.

We fell in love with Brevard several years ago as we began to consider retirement. We visited several larger and smaller communities in Western North Carolina, but Brevard seemed like the perfect place for us. Its proximity to two airports and other larger cities like Hendersonville and Asheville provide all of the amenities we could ever need without experiencing the heavy traffic and congestion we lived with in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area of North Texas! When we bought the Blue Bungalow to live in while we built our home in Pisgah Forest, we knew it would be a place to share with others who might enjoy the convenience of in town living while being so close to the many beautiful forests and attractions WNC has to offer. The moderate climate and majestic views of the NC mountains are the gifts we appreciate every day. We hope you enjoy your stay!
