GAME ROOM and HOT TUB! In Iowa, many cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes, while many others cheer for the Iowa State Cyclones. This is where we get “House Divided.” Take a look at all this new home has to offer during your stay.

A House Divided comes with a fully stocked kitchen that will leave you wanting for nothing, super comfortable beds and plenty of linens, loads of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Feeling sporty? Check out all the games in the game parlor in the fully air conditioned/heated garage to keep you entertained for hours. Want to relax? Catch the latest shows and games on Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN on multiple TVs in the home. Note: This property does have quiet hours from 9pm - 8am. All outdoor activities must be moved indoors during this time.

Each room has a unique feel that will really make you enjoy your home away from home. The home has 5 bedrooms and 3 bath areas. We hope you enjoy House Divided as much as we do! (Disclaimer: Please note there are exterior cameras on property for your safety viewing the front and back yards of the home.)

Easiest 5-star review ever! Incredibly clean and stylish home, stocked with very high quality amenities. Mattresses, bedding, towels, TVs, etc all top notch! Hot tub was perfect; clean, hot, with powerful jets. We stayed for 4 nights on an 8-person golf trip, and this was an ideal property for our group. The hosts were so friendly and communicative. We can’t wait to return next year.

This property was absolutely perfect for 4 adults and 3 teenage boys. The game room in the gargae kept everyone busy and entertained. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed.

There's so much to do here that our kiddos didn't want to leave!! The place has a great layout, lots of considerate touches and was very clean. We had a few small issues, mainly link took us to wrong address so make sure to look at written address and not use the link. The host was very responsive and addressed every small thing we had come up. None of which impacted the enjoyment of our stay. My 8 year old son said "definitely 10 out of 10". Will happily bring my family back!!

This home was an absolute winner for our trip. The kitchen was impressively well‑equipped, making meals easy and enjoyable. The space itself is wide‑open and comfortable — a perfect gathering spot for everyone to hang out, cook, and relax.We also loved having a grill for outdoor cooking, and the hosts really thought of every detail. The noise machine in the bedroom was a great touch for sleeping, and the luggage racks made unpacking simple and organized.You can tell the owners put real thought into making the stay effortless. I won’t hesitate to book this house again next year.

Great house for a girls weekend! We enjoyed the games in the garage and all the games downstairs. Had the perfect kitchen/living room space to gather and chat. Nice location and close to fun things to do around the area: dinner and drinks at The District and Polk County Pickleball. Would highly recommend and stay again!

We had a wonderful time staying at the House Divided!! The owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. So well furnished and lots extras in case anything was forgotten. The kids and adults had tons of fun in the game room and we also had lots of laughs playing games in the basement. The hosts were awesome to work with and we would highly recommend staying at the House Divided!!

This place is amazing. Super clean and great location. House is spacious and very tastefully decorated! Beds are super comfy The garage/game room was a hit with kids and adults! Kitchen is totally stocked with everything and then some! Forget something? They have you covered! This was a great place all around! Perhaps the nicest we've stayed in regarding cleanliness....accomodations....house space and layout for 8 people..... and for how stocked the kitchen was. Everything you could need! The game room was fun and the hot tub a bonus. Matt was super responsive to any questions. If you need a place in Des Moines.... check out "A House Divided"

We created this short term rental home with the premise that we wanted there to be activities for everyone to enjoy and the ability to split up into different areas of the home as you so choose. The term "House Divided" is a play on the rivalry between Iowa State and the University of Iowa. It's a phrase we see often in Iowa when both college teams are being supported under one roof. So, although the theme of our short term rental is "House Divided" we hope you and yours enjoy the place as a house united.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This location was chosen specifically for a couple of reasons. First, the location provides easy interstate access, from two exits, to Iowa State activities, downtown Des Moines events, and Adventureland resort among other local amenities. Second, the north and east side of the home (the backyard and side yard) will be developed into a 6.5 acre Ankeny city park for future outdoor activities.

There are so many options for each person of your group to enjoy themselves. Not only is the garage a full game area, there is space for little kiddos in the basement to play, others to have outside area to enjoy, and a fully stocked kitchen that will allow every chef to be at home.
