3 dormitorios, 1 baño Lakefront Cottage en el lago interior más grande de Michigan. Más de 100 pies de frente privado para que nuestros huéspedes disfruten y experimenten. "The Cub-Inn" tiene capacidad para 10 personas: los dormitorios 1 y 2 tienen camas queen, el dormitorio 3 tiene una cama queen y una doble, y hay un nuevo sofá cama. This cottage has everything

We stayed for the weekend and the only thing we needed was food. They have everything for a great time, it is stocked with water toys, games, even bikes for you to use. Owners were so easy to work with, looking forward to staying here again!

Beautiful Spot on Houghton Lake

Loved our stay at this clean and cozy home on Houghton Lake. It was well stocked and we enjoyed the games including shuffle board and ladder ball. Hosts are friendly and responsive. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard by the lake to watch the waves and ducks. Great property!

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed everything about this cottage! It was very well stocked and comfortable. The neighbors were friendly, but not intrusive. We liked that the boat launch was just a couple of miles away. The fenced yard on the lake side was really helpful with our dog there and she enjoyed resting in the grass and watching all of the activity on the lake. Many thanks to our hosts for making their cottage available.

Cozy house with a beautiful view

We loved everything about this house! Everyone including my elderly father and uncle were comfortable and really enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is well stocked so even on the cold, rainy days we had board games, darts, and puzzles to entertain us! We especially loved the vintage feel of the house. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A great Houghton Lakefront home with everything you need.

The "Cub-Inn" was a wonderful place to stay for our weeklong fishing trip to Houghton Lake. Clean and complete and well maintained. it was everything as advertised and more. Our hosts were attentive and responsive. The home itself was comfortable and in a great, quiet location. The yard was relatively private as lakefront property goes and we really put the fire pit and propane grill to work. Thanks for having this place available.

Houghton Lake Yearly Vacation

This house was just perfect !!!! ( I hate to say that because we plan on booking much more) Very clean, had everything you would need. I MEAN EVERYTHING !!!!!Beds are very comfortable, linens are nice, rooms are very spacious. Love the fenced in yard for our fur baby. Neighbors are also very nice. Owners are the best. Very responsive with any questions you may have. We already booked for next year !!!!!!!!!

Beachside Beauty

Our thanks to Steve, a very accommodating host. What a darling cottage. When you walk in the door you’ll feel at home! Very welcoming. Entirely stocked with just about everything. That kitchen had it all. WOW! Nice neighbors. C L E A N! You couldn’t buy the view. Close to everything at HL & Prudenville. Did I mention C L E A N! We hope to return to this little gem.

Beautiful view, gracious host

This cottage has a beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. It’s close to town and many recreation options. Host was friendly and gracious.

Peaceful Lake Cottage

My husband and I booked a long weekend at this wonderful cottage. The house was well stocked and efficient. Tons of movies, games, and puzzles. Short drive to the grocery store. Plenty of cozy spots to sit and read a book or watch the boats go by. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard and shallow water where they played all day. We watched the sunset every evening and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The owners were so kind and were available for anything we would have needed. Will definitely book again!

Above and Beyond.......

We had a wonderful time at this property. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. The sunsets are crazy beautiful, the yard is wonderful, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is well supplied and everything was really clean. It was even better than expected and I can't say enough about how wonderful the owners are. We had a medical emergency with a member in our group. I will just say, Steve and Rosemary were not only supportive and helpful, but went way beyond what many property owners would do. They are remarkable. I hope we get to back again.

Wonderful and relaxing vacation getaway!

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed this vacation getaway! We cannot say enough good things about this rental! The home is stocked with everything you might need and with so many activities to enjoy! There is plenty for people of all ages; parents of younger children could come and not have to bring anything to do! Their lakefront yard is so spacious. Steve and his wife were excellent with immediate communication and with accommodating us... we even appreciated the fishing tips! ;) And the fenced-in yard on the lakeside was perfect for bringing our furry friend! We absolutely loved our stay!!

So much fun!

The Hub was more fun than we ever imagined! The owners provide everything you need to have a great time! The kayaks were a blast and the water was beautiful! Also the beds were very comfortable! My whole family wants to go back again!

charming lakeside getaway!

We had a blast enjoying all the amenities and entertainment this place had to offer! The home is exactly as pictured, super charming throw back/vintage experience. The owners were very responsive, and everything you'd want to know about the area and home was posted up. Only complaint would be the age / nature of mattresses, they are quite springy. Stayed with my husband, pup, elderly mom and dad. We loved the sunsets, kayaks, shuffleboard and peaceful nature of the backyard. Everything was very clean. Close to everything you need and more! Would definitely consider returning.

Excellent Cottage, great area of the Lake, everything you need for a fantastic stay!

Our family just returned from a week stay at the “Cub Inn. We are so happy with our stay. The communication with the owners was incredible, they far exceed the standard expectations with the rental in all aspects. The small touches and amenities were noticed and very much appreciated. We had a diverse age group, and there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. We especially appreciated the kayaks, paddle boards, and all the “extras” stocked at the cottage. From games, to cards, movies, and outdoor activities, they have truly put care and consideration into this rental property. No matter what we were looking for, we seemed to have, they’ve got everything covered. We would definitely stay again, and recommend to friends and family in the future. Thanks for the memories!

Excellent Place

We enjoyed our stay at The Cub Inn very much. It’s a nice little piece of heaven. Even though there are neighbors it is very peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Amazing rental!

This is our second year at this fabulous rental, and we plan to make it an annual destination. The owners are wonderful to deal with and think of everything. They update every year, so pictures don’t do it justice. We feel so fortunate to have found the Cub Inn!!

What a great week!

We have spent many weeks at Houghton Lake in years past! There were so many things provided by our hosts. Kayaks, sand toys, bikes, fishing poles, outdoor games, videos, books. Adults and children we all enjoyed ourselves. With so much provided by our hosts all we had to do was play like the kids and have fun!

Great family time

Had a wonderful week. Beautiful weather, a great property. Had campfires every night. The two little dogs next-door were barking continuously when they were outside, was a little distracting. Everything else was perfect!

Our home is just around the corner from "The Cub-Inn" and we've always admired the property. The sunsets are incredible on this side of the lake.
