Fire Pit & Screened Dining Porch - 2 Blocks to Beach & Close to Town

This property provides a charming and family-friendly experience on a quaint, lower-traffic street. It is ideal for families with children or groups looking for extra room during their stay.

Living Spaces
The main common spaces are all located on the first floor. The living room features a fireplace, a large TV, two plush sofas, and comfy recliner chairs. On the lower level, there is an additional TV room with a sofa and chairs so guests can relax and watch a movie or read a book while others play games or converse. It is also a great place to steal away for some remote work or study.

Peak & Non-Peak Season
During the peak season, this home would have a 7-night minimum and would rent Friday - Friday. If you are interested in staying a full week in the non-peak season, September through April, please send in an inquiry with your travel dates and we are happy to supply weekly pricing for your trip.

Cooking & Dining
The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to prepare meals for you and yours, including a large fridge, modern stove and oven, plenty of cabinet space, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes and utensils. There is both an indoor dining room next to the kitchen and an outdoor screened-in dining area in the backyard that each sits up to 8 guests comfortably. The indoor dining room is perfect for drinking morning coffees, preparing lunches, and planning the day's adventure.

Bed & Bath
Guests have their choice among three bedrooms on the second floor, while younger ones (or young at heart!) can fight over who gets the top bunk in the basement-level suite. The second-floor main bedroom features an elegant queen bed with a private bathroom with tub/shower combo and vanity. This room is great for couples or guests looking for extra privacy. Additionally, on the second floor, there is a second bedroom with a plush queen bed and a third bedroom with two twin beds. These rooms are shared by a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and vanity. On the basement level, you'll find two twin-over-twin bunk beds and one queen bed. This room can sleep up to six guests and has its own bathroom with a shower and vanity. This space is ideal for younger guests or guests looking to stay away from the other bedrooms and main areas.

House was one of the best VRBO ‘s we have stayed in. It was well stocked in the kitchen with everything we needed. With small kids eating in is always a must and having those items to make a meal is so important. The backyard and screened in eating porch was fabulous.

Was a great experience!

Our daughter accidentally locked the basement door in the evening and the management team did a great job responding quickly and getting it unlocked the same evening.

Great stay!

Great property! Very clean. Beds and furniture layout was great for hanging out with a family. Everything worked as expected and we were really pleasantly surprised with how much the owners had for us to use (bicycles, yard games, beach toys). Had 4 stars on accuracy of listing as it wasn’t 5 bedrooms. One bedroom had queen and bunk beds and assuming they counted that as a fourth and fifth bedroom.

Relax and enjoy!

Had a relaxing family vacation in a quiet neighborhood on the north side of South Haven. Plenty of room for 9 of us to spread out. Enjoyed the front and back porch and screened in dining area attached to garage! Lovely flower garden all around the house. Small yard but perfect space to enjoy a camp fire with a big group. Just a few blocks from the water at Oak beach and under a mile to the large public north beach area. We would stay here again.

Pleasant comfortable home and location

The home suited our family well. It's in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to a small beach (beach was always crowded). One problem, if the AC is turned up enough to make the upstairs comfortable, the basement is too cold, and if the basement is comfortable the upstairs is too warm. Potential renters should know the large table in a screened in porch seen in the pictures is separate from the house. Not a big deal but we hadn't realized that. All in all we had a great time and were pleased with the house

Sometimes basements due tend to bit a bit chilly here, so we would recommend closing basement vents, to direct more air flow to the upstairs areas. You are correct that the screened in dining porch is not attached to the home, but is only about 15 feet from the back porch.

Very Nice

This house was perfect for our family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children). Everything was very nice and clean. The kids loved the bunk beds. We had most meals at home and the kitchen is fully stocked with nice cookware and dishes. Our only complaint would be the air conditioning...we would set the thermostat at a comfortable 70 degrees in the main living area and it was 64 degrees in the basement and 80 degrees upstairs. A dual thermostat would be nice but is very critical of a very nice property. Nice location in a quaint little town.

Lovey home with everything you need!

Oak haven is not to be missed! We easily fit 5 adults and 3 children... this place had room for more though! The kids bunk room in the basement was perfect for our young children. The screened in porch provided a lovely place to gather for meals. Oak street beach is a quick walk away and we walked to Captain Lou's for lunch. Downtown South Haven is walkable as well but we avoided the holiday crowds and cooked at home. Oak Haven provided everything we needed and more! We'd love to go back for another visit.

The house is wonderful! Stocked nicely through out. It was nice not having to pack sheets and towels. The bath towels were better than I have in my house.
