Very Nice Lake House

Family of 4 had a great time at the house. So nice having direct access to the lake. Beautiful views and a quiet neighborhood. Short ride to Cooperstown.

Peaceful oasis that offered needed respite from baseball

Our son was at Dreams Park for HIS ultimate adventure. This awesome house was not only a convenient place to stay but also provided much needed distraction for our younger daughter. She loved swimming in the lake, using the floats and jumping off the big green float anchored just deep enough for a young one to enjoy. Would highly recommend this house. Owners are very responsive, super easy to work with and you can tell this is not just a “rental” for them, it’s a home they choose to share.

Fishing!!!

If you’re looking for a 5 star resort, go find one. If you looking for a lake house that makes the whole family ecstatically happy, this is it! This place will take you back in time to a simpler, happier way of life. Leave your cell phones at the door. You won’t want them and you won’t want to go back to them.My boys have stayed all over the country playing baseball. This is by far their favorite place. I’ll not only go back, I want to buy it. And make sure you check out JC bait shop.

The view of the the lake is stunning. The direct access to the lake is perfection for kids on a hot day. They loved being able to use the kayaks and paddle boards. The fishing off the dock is fabulous! It truly is picturesque. However, we were not prepared for the smell of the water indoors. I'm very experienced with the smells of well water, but this was like nothing I've ever experienced. There is sign in the bathroom that states "The smell of sulphur may be noticed from time to time." It's consistent every time you run water from a faucet. I think knowing in advance and preparing yourself for the smell will make the overall stay more pleasant.Overall, the cottage is super quaint and charming. And again, the VIEW is just stunning. But prepare yourselves for the very strong smell of rotten eggs when showering.
